Breaking news on SSN is that Chelsea want Zola back at the club as a coach (not as manager though)
 
I think every chelsea fan will be happy if we employ zola. :)

As for the manager I think we should keep ancelotti. You can't win something every season and we've had injuries this year. In the first year he did incredibly well and there's no one better available so I think we should stick with him.
 
Every club has injuries, you cant use that as an excuse. Agree that there's no one else that stands out as an ideal replacement though unless RA can bury his ego and bring Jose back which I doubt will happen
 
Considering Zola specifically brought in Clarke to handle all the coaching when he took the West Ham job, I'm not too sure of his coaching credentials.

I suppose he could just be a replacement for Uncle Ray.

But if Arsenal won't/can't pay the fee, he definitely could move elsewhere.

edit: and the Sahin to Real stuff is now official too.

Mourinho's ego would mean he wouldn't come back even if asked.

He'll move to another club to develope as a player, there is only so much he can do in France, with the greatest respect to the French leagues they're not quite up to the standard of Germany / Italy / Spain / England.

He'd do well at any top four club in any of those leagues to be honest, imho of course.

I'm with Baz, I'd have thought coming back and once again being the golden boy in the English press for "saving" Chelsea would suit him just fine.
 
We'll probably be priced out of Hazard, he's one of the most exciting young players around and Lille don't sell cheap. I can't see him costing less than £20m, and even though we should be spending that, I'm not sure we will. It might rest on how much we get for Arshavin though

In regards to our league, he'd do well to stay in France for a bit longer, the French league is probably the most similar league to ours in terms of tempo and aggression. Loads of really good players come out of Ligue 1, it's a great environment for youngsters imo
 
Looks like Mexes and Taiwo have agreed to go to AC Milan on frees this summer.

Also hearing rumours Bayern are going to get Coentrao.

I kind of agree, but I think he needs to develope in a better footballing atmosphere, even the English league (the top 4/5/6 sides) will offer that.

Another year in France certainly wouldn't hurt him, but a move away could make him.

Considering how much United and Inter Milan have offered previously that's not a bad price but Arsenal would be far better off spending that money on a keeper and a centre back and using the strikers they have in their squad a bit better.
