That's great but with some people it's clear you're just wasting your time as their's no reasoning with them. You then either continue smashing your head against that brick wall or give up on them.
 
Both the Times and Telegraph are reporting that Liverpool are favourites to sign Young and that we're in for Downing also.

I like Young as a player but I'm not convinced he's the type of winger we need. Downing on the other hand is the type of winger we need but I'm not convinced he's good enough :/

I suppose if we were to get them both it wouldn't be the worst outcome, certainly an improvement on Jovanovic and Cole anyway.
 
I'm hoping that Kenny will come out and rules out any chance of Liverpool ever signing Kjaer, Defour and Honda so that Tombstone would shut up :p

And the Young stories look like being in all the mornings rags. Whether they're just copying the Times/Telegraph or whether it's common knowledge, I don't know.
 
Would be bloody good signings though :p

Kjaer and Agger (Denmark woo)! Defour and Honda! AND Young / Downing :p

Kjaer does have a lot to prove, but I'm game for it being us to give him that chance to prove it. Defour is terrific, people said Aquaman was a crock but to be honest he has been pretty darned good this season. Honda is a terrific player, many are the games I have watched him in and he has never failed to interest me with his creativity and ability.

We should get them all !! Thats a good idea I reckon ! :D
 
Having watched Downing a lot this season I think he's actually a pretty good player, certainly Villa's best this year by a long way, technically very good just not quite quick enough / able to beat a man consistently.
