With the rumour of Kaka going to Chelsea, just hearded on Talk Sport that knee injury he picked up which kept him out for a long time is chronic. I can't see Chelsea risking a huge amount of money on him then only playing for a small number of games in a season.

Pirlo is off to Juventus apparently which probably means Aquilani coming back to Liverpool.

Hope so, he'd flourish playing the sort of football we are playing under Dalglish.

Milan are meant to be after him though and if Pirlo is off to Juve, they might step up their interest.

Read that his family is moving to London and Kaka is a family man. 30million is what is being talked about. If they can buy Torres at 50m and only get 1 goal out of him but a injury prone Kaka has been scoring a handful of goals since coming back from injury, I think he is a done deal.

Nice to see the dirty little mercenary is fulfilling his 2 seasons max though.

That would be the downside, I still don't think he's suited to the PL though.

I can see it panning out like Ledley Kings situation at Spurs. Harry only playing him in certain games, so not straining him every game. I'll love to see Kaka play in the EPL, even if its for a handful of games.

Kaka's not moving to London, his Ma said on Twitter she was in London in August and the transfer muppet world went into overdrive.

She then confirmed that she is at some doo in London.

They have wanted Kaka for quite sometime and never gone for him so I don't see why they would now unless it was some sort of swap deal with Lampard.

There's definitely still a question mark there but he was showing signs of settling in towards the back end of last season.

His performance against Spurs stands out the most in my mind. It wasn't his best footballing performance but I thought he answered a lot of the questions about whether he was up for the fight that day; he got stuck in and brushed off a fair few heavy tackles.

There are a lot of similarities between him and Meireles; doubts over both of them being able to play CM as part of a 2 but like Meireles has under Dalglish, I think he'd do really well in one of the 3 free roles off the front.

With Cole, Jovanovic and possibly Ngog leaving, I think we're just missing 2 natural wide players and 1 CM/Attacking CM:

Carroll, Kuyt, Suarez, Maxi, Meireles, Aquilani and 2 out and out wingers would provide us with great variety in attack without being massively overstaffed (especially as Meireles and Aquilani would also cover Gerrard/Lucas/Spearing in CM).

Does Aquilani actually want to come back though? I mean, we arent going to end up lumbered with a player who doesnt really want to be here are we?

From what i can tell he doesnt, He would much rather stay in Italy but if he has to return he will so its sounding like please dont make me kind of situation. Get least 13mil for him then put it towards Honda cause i think he is also a good player :P

In my Opinion:

Arsenal OUT:

Denilson - Don't need a reason. GET OUT
Squillaci - Not good enough. Maybe he would improve in 2nd year but nah.
Bendtner - Don't want him to go as he would be a good player if played as a Forward not RW.
Rosicky - I like him, but we need to cut wages for new players.
Clichy - Sorry Gael, we need a new Left Back who can put decent crosses in for our forwards.

Diaby too needs to go, however considering we concede a lot of set piece goals we're desperate for some height from the midfield. Wilshere, Cesc, Ramsey, Rosicky and Denilson are all small players. That's not a great reason though, it's time to cut our losses with him and get rid. He's not only crap, but lazy as well.

If we can get rid of Bendtner, his wages could form part of an offer for Tevez. A very hard working forward is somebody we really need. He's pretty decent in the box as well.

Clichy needs to go, but not for that reason. I've said for a long time something's wrong with our play when we rely on our full backs to provide that quality cross.

I do think Clichy needs to go, I just don't want him to. I love that he can run all day, and still want to carry on running! He just seem's to have lost his defensive ability over the last 2/3 years. :(

I think the frailty of our CB's has had a massive influence over how poor our LB + RB have been. With a decent CB pairing i don't think either side is a position we should be worrying about.
