I don't want Clichy or Bendtner to go. I think that Bendtner can become a great player if Wenger just gives him more chances in the middle, in fact I was reading the other day that Bendtner said he doesn't want to play on the right wing and that him and Wenger are going to discuss things in the summer. Also Nasri's agent said that there hasn't been any interest from Juve or Milan and that Nasri is only interested in negotiating a new contract with Arsenal which is great news.

I reckon we can hold onto Cesc for another season, we just need to get a few people off the wage bill maybe Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky, Eboue and Almunia, and then get one or two quality back up players and we should be good for next season. The Benzema rumours are a bit crazy and probably completely made up, I can't say I've watched him play much but when he played for Lyon he must have been good to attract the attention of the top clubs. I think that he's had hardly any chances at Madrid when you look at the attackers they have. I'd rather see Wenger change our tactics than spend any obscene amounts of money, two up front is a necessity in my opinion, we struggle with one up top, the defense always seems to outnumber our attackers and that's when we start just tapping it around the edge of the box aimlessly.

Former Udinese coach Adriano Fedele has advised Sanchez to head to Old Trafford.

"If I were him, I would go to Manchester United," said Fedele. "(Sir Alex) Ferguson is the right coach for him and, more than the others, would be able to enhance his quality."

Not sure if he's got a choice in the matter (as in whether we're even interested) but yes please! :)

Almost every story I've read recently has been him wanting to join us over City as well.

I've watched a bit of Sanchez this season, he's not amazing just yet, but plenty of potential and at the right club he could go on to be great. Fairly sure he'll go to City though (i.e. the wrong club)

Is he decent outside of FM though?

If he goes to the right club then he's going to be a star no doubt about it. Not sure what interest there is in him from Spain as both Barca and Real have been linked with the latter saying they wont be following up due to signing Sahin (totally different type of player mind you)

Not sure where he'd fit into our team though as he's predominately right sided (where we already have Valencia and Nani) or as a support striker (where we already have Rooney)

City bound I fear :(

Giggs doesn't play on the wing any more, and the other two are right-footed, so yeah, I'd say he's perfect for Man Utd.

Pretty sure he's played there a decent number of times this season, no?

Also being left footed or right doesn't suit you more to one side, Nani seems just as effective on the left.

:p

I'd spend the money else where, those positions are better covered than the centre and another fullback.
Who has been playing left side for united recently?
