Though the chances of him moving to City are zero imo like you say most players aren't solely interested in wages.

Ignore the fact he's playing with; friends, childhood club, winning cups, already earning a wedge, has his family round, his home country, beautiful weather at times, oh and he's playing in probably the best Club side in history*

Adebayor wants/wanted to come to the lane! As a Spurs fan people would usually automatically assume I'd be against such a move but I know the guy is big and powerful in the air and knows how to stick the ball in the net. He is just the sort of striker we need. If we don't get him then I think we should move for Kenwyne Jones.
 
More rumours about de Rossi, M'Villa and the french youngster Varane all being targetted (or close to signing depending on report you read / believe) by Utd - and De Gea still trying to decide if he wants to leave Spain after the clubs agreed a transfer weeks ago.......
 
Raphael Varane has been done or dusted at least 5 times over the past month, he's only just 18 though so I wouldn't expect him to play a big role next season if it does actually come to fruition
 
He'd come back on briefly showing off his shiny red shoes before missing three one on ones and two tap ins.

Thank **** for City they did us a massive favour with £25m. He's probably cost Madrid around 8 points since he's been with them from Jan.

It's why I don't mind them being interested in Cesc (apparently). If we have to lose Cesc then we may as well be adequately compensated for him.

Ledley King back in the fold. Expected to face Liverpool with Gallas likely to sit out final games of the season having not been at full fitness in the last few.

Rumours of Lukaku having signed a pre-contract, though this has come from the same idiot who made up bags of stuff during January.
 
I wouldn't be surprised at lukaku going to spurs. Everyone seems to link him with chelsea but it would just be another drogba/torres thing which presumably we'd want to avoid. He'd be good at spurs and actually get to start.
