Doesn't Messi regularly kick up a fuss behind closed doors at Barcelona yet the club would never dream of doing anything other than take it with stupid smiles on their faces and shell out more money or whatever's needed? Didn't they also publically kick up a storm at the time when they lost Fabregas to Wenger?

Yet 'possessive about youth/talent' Barcelona apparantly released the 'transfer coup of the Summer' over a thing like 'personal matters', and then a Chelsea building for the future let him sign for a smaller and less ambitious club even after training with them?

We'll see, but all I see is Tottenham signing a youngster and an unnamed source ('Arry) shockingly talking him up with utter *****.

There is no way on this earth that Spurs have gazumped anybody for one of the hottest young players on the planet, for free.
For the lad to of gone unnoticed by the likes of Arsenal, Madrid and Manchester United and then to top it all off he has supposedly been at chelsea for a fortnight, and they were all really impressed but nobody could make a decision?

Bull****.

If he turns out ok you'll have fun in the future with such headlines as "Ceballos has Barca DNA".

To feature also are 'interviews' by Cesc Fabregas, Barca player by now, who claims that Ceballos wants to move back to Spain.

As we all know Spurs aren't capable of buying talented youngsters...

Are these the talented youngsters that Harry never plays because they are so amazing that Spurs would be kicked out the league for fielding players that were simply too awesome so it wouldnt be fair on everyone else?

Seriously, just read the article, one of the best young players IN THE WORLD, who the world famous, renowned for nurturing some of the the finest players on the planet Barcelona dont want any more because he is a bit mardy?

And then to top it all off he has gone unnoticed by every major club scout in europe and EVEN THEN has somehow managed to impress everyone at Chelsea to the extent he was training with the first team and everything and was really great but nobody was able to decide if the wanted to sign this really awesome player......

and this world class youngster, who Barcelona cant be bothered with and Chelsea wanted but couldnt find anybody with a pen while he was there STILL manages to escape the clutches of some of the finest youth scouts on the planet and world famous Barcelona youth team letcher Arsene Wenger..... somehow ends up at spurs with nary a whimper?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

To be fair I remember the buzz from the Spurs supporters when you signed Dos Santos, this incredibly talented player on the brink of Barca's first team.... only for it to become apparent very quickly why they were happy for him to leave

Not saying this latest one will go the same way but you can understand the pessimism

I still think Dos Santos is an outstanding player and would do well in the Spurs first team in place of Crouch.

Aguero 'leaving' message from his personal website..

I've thought long and I am convinced that I must be true to myself. I do not think I put a ceiling on the ability to keep learning, to keep growing. After five years of intense personal stage is over and I have to give way to a new one. I'm about to turn 23 and I have everything before. Suffice it to say that this is not an economic issue but strictly sports. So I want to clearly express my appreciation to the club for the efforts he has made for keeping up with a salary according to the largest institutions in the world.

I want to say also that this decision have been maturing for some time. Even the issue was discussed and agreed with Atletico last year on the occasion of renewing my contract. I wanted to sign, renew, as a way to return the club and all the mattress all you have given me. Have not done so, had stayed in freedom of action and the institution had not received any money for my transfer. I then had the promise of the Club would not impediments to my eventual departure in June 2011. So attentive to that commitment and unwavering view of my decision, I asked him to listen without any conditions that may get offers from different clubs.

And for the fans, my eternal gratitude. Not trying to be original or say the politically correct. I'd rather say what I feel, beyond all other considerations. Because I know that the only way they will understand is if I do from my heart. That was the way I felt I talked all these years, with sincere love and affection. You are already part of my identity and a way of understanding football. We share joys and disappointments. The 101 goals and obtaining two titles after so many years of drought. I will never forget the celebration in Neptune and that night in Barcelona when we could not win the Copa del Rey. Well worth it, right? All those experiences ended up reaffirming something in me that I have from childhood: the desire to compete, win and be among the best with the only weapons I have: my game and my love for football.

I do not want to fall into the commonplace to say that this is not a goodbye but a see you later. But if you say something once told me that said a very famous Argentinean tango, Anibal Troilo and that is very appropriate for this time: "Who said I left? If I'm ever going ... "
A hug for everyone. I love you. "
Kun

If he has joined Madrid, its going to take more then that for the Atletico supporters to not want to stab him tbh.
It would be Gerrard joining United, possibly worse, to those Atleti fans.

Whats really interesting however is that Marca are reporting he has joined Man City for <Stupid cash>, while the rest of spain say Madrid.

What playing up front with VDV behind him? Cant see that working tbh :/

I really cannot see Aguero joining Real. There is so much competition for places its ridiculous.
Unless they are selling off Benzema and Higuian.

After tonight Carlos looked happy and with the reporter from MEN saying that when asked if he was saying Tevez said "Hopefully". Of course it could all have been lost in translation.

Saying that, Aguero saying officially he wants to leave on the day it was supposed to be Tevez's last is a bit of a coincidence tbh.

Apparently aguero has simply asked for a transfer. i.e. there are no deals done atm. Come one chelsea - make a bid and get him back with torres! :)

Neither of those two seem to be favourites of Jose plus of course it's not always the manager that signs the players at Real

One thing you should never look into when it comes to Real Madrid transfers is whether or not they need the player or not ;)

Two players who are non suited to leading the line (as a pair at least, Torres needs to be up top alone, imo)..

Yes please, sign him up Roman.
