Anderson certainly does. It's true he's a very inconsistent player and when he plays poorly, he plays really poorly. But on his day he's a fantastic player
lol, Anderson at his best is a corner flag threat, or that guy on the upper tier, Anderson isn't remotely a constant goal threat, even in his best games he rarely scores.
2 goals in the league since he joined Utd, over 4 seasons, and around 45 games or so, massive goal threat. Adam, one season 12 goals.
And that is probably fair enough TBH. He is not Beckham or Ronaldo in the marketing stakes and given his love for Barca you would question the value of the sell-on.
He is probably worth about £40m to Arsenal but that is meaningless as no-one is buying at that price.
Barca are rich, they are owed hundreds of millions, the loan they took out was because the hundreds of millions haven't been paid, when that cheque comes through expect them to be laughing. To "pay off" the loan they got shirt sponsorship for the first time, at basically the entire value of the loan.
Secondly, they do need Cesc, Iniesta simply isn't as good as Cesc and Xavi while brilliant is 31 and playing, because of generally long runs in Cl and for Spain , 55-70 games a season at the moment. Its fairly likely he'll be slowing down pretty soon with the manager giving him more games off.
Barca don't really have anyone waiting in the wings to take over from Xavi.
Samba and Falcao, whats the point, defense, every defender we've brought in has essentially been a much better player BEFORE they joined, being good at Blackburn doesn't mean he'll play well in a defence with major problems. Falcao, can't see it unless Wenger gets over his scared mentality and moves back to 4-4-2, which I don't see happening.
If we bought a very expensive huge name signing, I'd suggest its more likely to replace RVP than go with him.
How many seasons has RVP, along with Cesc and a bunch of others been persauded to play one more season with promises from Wenger of changes and investment.
