Sahin signed for Real?? How many players do they have? I swear they have a 25 man squad rule in Spain
It is crazy. No doubt in a couple of years Sahin/Khedira/Ozil will be like the Dutch trio of Hunterlaar, Sneijder and Robben who get kicked out.

Surprised no teams have gone for players like Granero/Canales/Leon even if its on loan because they are never going to play now Sahin is there. Not that they played before :(

And VDV. They just buy players they don't even need. Canales was linked with Arsenal not very many weeks ago but that will probably be rubbish, plus I don't think that signing a Spanish kid who doesn't even play for his team is the answer to our problems.

Manchester City fan in being shocked by another team buying needless players?

I would cry if our summer outfield recruitment was Adam and Young...

Fergie wants a defender / centre half by the looks of things - but from a "midfield" point of view I would heartly agree with your centiment , although I would take both if a TOP quality midfielder was added to the pair mentioned (unlikely I know but even so),

Also if Nani, Park and Valencia are all kept and added to with Young, it isnt so bad, but if Utd sell one of the three then its a complete waste of time imo

How about Pastore, (Alexis) Sanchez , Adam and Young and Enrique..... :D:D

(Im excluding De Gea as that SEEMS like a done deal, and we are really only discussing outfield players) That would be a great summer......although I know Im dreaming lol

I read that, the guy's a class act and his attitude since coming to United has been spot on.

If Berba cant score for toffee when the team really need him to - then while the attitude being spot on is commendable, does it actually matter (that much)?

Its not even as though his assists rise when his strike rate goes down - they both fall thruough the floor.

Shame he has been royally shafted a lot of the time :(

Thats debatable to say the very least. He has never been a regular scorer for Utd in three years . Yes he did very well this season........and yet scored in 5 or 6 seperate games (and over half his EPL tally was in 3 games). I feel for him, for sure, but think "royaly shafted" is wayyyyyyyy too far

I am not shocked. Just saying its mad they have so many good players.

I can think of only the one needless player since our takeover that was pointless. All the others have been good signings that worked until they were replaced arguably with better players.

Other then the trillion different strikers you mean?

Thats strange, I think most of us can do at least 6 without even trying.

Tevez, Balotelli, Adebayor and Dzeko? Yeh a trillion :/

Well name 6 pointless transfers that we have made then.
I only have the one. Roque Santa Cruz.

And the 16 defensive midfielders. I bet that Toure, De Jong and Barry combined probably cost more than the entire 25 man squad of some of the bottom half teams.
You must mean the one actual defensive midfielder we have who is De Jong and then Vieira for backup. Toure is not a defensive midfielder, played there for Barca so he suddenly is a defensive mid  and Barry although has played there does not sit deep like De Jong.

I hope there's truth in the Sevilla £8,000,000 bid for Denilson. :D

Diaby can **** off too. The guy will run past three defenders with some brilliant footwork and then just run into someone and lose the ball. Also crap in the air considering he's 13 feet tall. :/

Thats a bit unfair, he's one of Utd's most dangerous players at corners :p

IF we get 8mil for Denilson I'll laugh my head clean off. He did look really good before his missing year with us, then came back a absolutely useless defensive midfielder, before then he looked a (potentially)great attacking player.

Arsenal should ditch, Diaby, Denilson, Song, Sagna, Squillaci, Kos simply because they aren't good enough. Sell Nasri, Chamakh while we can get good value for them, sell Eboue, Almunia because they simply aren't getting anywhere near the number of games guys on their wage should be getting.

We should also trim the youth squad, how we still pay Randall or Hoyte money I don't know, Randall made his first appearance almost 4 years ago and has made a whole 3-4 other rubbish appearances since. Our reserves/youth are becoming as stagnant as our first team, rather than ditch the underperforming players, getting new young players in or simply saving the cash we just keep giving them contracts.

my two pence on Nasri holding out.

not my actual words but i agree 100% on this below:

Adebayor had one decent season and then wanted to be paid the exact same as what Henry used to be on. Henry was consistant an arsenal legend and earned his top paymark.

If Nasri thinks he can play well for half a season and then think he should be on the same wages as our captain and best player, then he is living in la la land. It's ****ing disgraceful in my book, earn your ****ing money, how about having a couple of great seasons then come back and start demanding stuff.

These players that get the money striaght off the bat for showing some potential is bad imo, they start to get lazy and think they are already the finished article and Nasri is far from that.

Wenger should hold out on paying him the earth, otherwise anyother player that plays well for a couple of games will demand the same, then it just gets ridiculous.

If he is just after the money he can **** off. If he is biding his time to see who we are going to buy, then I completely understand him holding out as he wants the club to show ambition before he signs up for a few more years.

I'm with Wenger on this, he should not be held to ransom on players wages.
