I'd take him back in a heart beat. Fantastic player. He had/is having a ridiculous spell of not scoring due to his ego being inflated by our fans but once he realises who's just a man he'll start banging them in again.

I can see him returning, if available. Depend's who comes in as Chelsea's new manager but we can all see he wasn't an Ancelotti signing and Abramovich get's rid of personnel very easily and 1 in 17 (iirc) isn't a great statistic to have to your name.

I'm talking myself into believing this tripe. Wow, I hate twitter.
 
I love how you're actually speculating about this :confused: Do you have a spare 50m? And even if you did I can't see Roman giving back his striker so soon.

Plus what happened to super suarez and competent carroll?

Somebody asked a hypothetical question, we all know it's not going to happen.

He wouldn't cost £50m now though :p

He wouldn't cost 50 mil now, we have an immense player in Suarez and Carroll with great potential, but I wouldn't say no to a 07- June 10 Torres though. Mind you only seems to perform under that **** manager, what's his name, rafa.

Chelsea have no need to sell anybody, they've not held out for massive money on the players they have sold though.

If Torres were to leave Chelsea, after the 6 months he's had, he's not likely to demand the £50m Chelsea paid.

As above, it's all hypothetical and pretty meaningless tbh.

Nope :D , even then I wouldnt want him back. I mean Chelsea wouldnt want to lose much on him, so we'd have to spend like £40m on him or something, for 40 million quid we could buy 2 x £15 million and 1 x £10 million players, I would much rather we spent that money on strengthening 3 other positions than splash it all on Torres for 1 position.
 
Twitter rife with rumors that the Brazilian media are reporting Neymar has signed a 5 year contract with Chelsea, at $6 million a year.
 
Daily Mail today saying Liverpool are going to spend their money almost entirely on young English players.

It's looking increasingly likely we'll shell out ~£30m to get Jordan Henderson and Phil Jones. James McCarthy of Wigan is another £10m rated name we're heavily linked with.

I wouldn't be too disappointed with Young, Jones, Henderson and a good LB, but I think quite a few Liverpool fans are in full-on Football Manager mode and will get mad if it isn't Aguero, Mata and Coentrao we sign.
