Nasri is an epic ****.

He's hot and cold, brilliant at times but goes missing all too easily, if he could be more consistent I think he'd turn in to a pretty decent centre mid / attacking mid.

Bah the rumors about Hendersen have sparked up for us all be it over Twitter one of them who tbf has been right couple times basicly saying its all done.

Never seen him play so if any one has would he actually offer us much? (Dont say suggest watch youtube as that makes any player look good even crap poulsen)

Nasri would be fine in the centre, essentially he suffers from playing with Fabregas as he is the one who gets shifted out wide and he's nowhere near as effective out there.

Depending on the price I'd be pretty happy with Henderson , thought he was excellent at times last season. Good solid midfielder, very young , plenty to build upon.

Don't believe anybody on twitter. They're all full of ****. A couple of decent journo's say we're in for him and want to tie it up soon but have also said a formal offer is yet to be made.

As for what Henderson would offer. He's mainly played on the right (and reportedly where we want to play him) but is comfortable in the middle too. He's not a natural winger who's going to take people on but he's got an excellent delivery on him. Long term I can see him developing into a box to box CM rather than a wide player though.

He'd be a decent signing but we'd still have to sign an out and out winger imo also though.

But he's not that great in the centre either. Not to Cesc's standard, and it now seems Wilshere is better than him as well. He had a run of games there and didn't really do anything.

He's put on the left wing for the most part but now plays a lot deeper, more defensive. Being that you have Park, Fletcher etc. there I don't really think he'd add to your side.

However if he wishes to go then I don't mind if the offer's right.

Complete tosh, in Cesc's absense thats where he played, and dissappeared completely. Assists in league, 1, record when Cesc was injured and Nasri took the role, season ruining levels of craptitude.

Anyway, rather than start a new thread, did anyone read a story on Giggs, I'm either very high or theres a story breaking that suggests Giggs has been banging his brothers wife for 8 years :o

Ouch, reputation pretty much shot to pieces me thinks, if its true, and serious, I could see him retiring a year early rather than go through a season of being ripped to shreds from the stands.

didn't Nasri score 13 goals before January and then his form dipped as he was increasingly pushed out wide?

I honestly don't know. :p That may well be the case, but if there are more effective players for that position then I can understand Wenger being a bit hesitant around him in terms of signing a contract.

But, he did hit a purple patch after which he lost his effectiveness. He has played both at different times. When we attack we go all over the place anyway. He's quite defensive yes, but he's lost himself somewhat as you say since Jan. He's not large enough to be an effective blocker - but not that brilliant up front either.

With all things considered I've seen cut price offers in the papers of £10m - which would be an absolute bargain considering what went on in Jan.

Still, if there are to be wholesale changes this summer I'd rather lose Denilson and Rosicky before him who are older or of the same age.

AFAIK the only game he really scored 2 goals in from the middle was West Brom early in the season, he was also epically wasteful and selfish all game but got two goals late on, with him in the middle we lost the game, lost 3 goals and were basically rubbish and that was at home.

After that his next goals he was playing out wide, he's been wide almost all season and he played centrally more at the end of the season when Cesc was injured, which is when our season fell apart.

I'm not sure about Nasri. I've seem him do some really fantastic things and then I've seen him do very little, but if he could be consistent, I'd quite like him.

He's certainly got ability. I doubt it will happen though.

The thing is though this is why our reliant on youth policy isn't working. They don't have any seniors to really learn the ropes. Nasri's a well above average player, but is just stuck in a rut atm developmentally.

If you were to get him, you'd probably get a lot more out of him than we could possibly do.

2 - In this season's Premier League, Samir Nasri bagged 8 goals and 1 assist in 2010, but only 2 goals and no assists in 2011. Fader.

also

I am sure it has already been said but Sneijder apparently going to decide between City and utd. Hope its utd *fingers crossed*

I would much rather Juan Mata who is on his way to us according to some!

Deal, you can have Mata. No worries.

Quite possibly, we would need to get more out of him.

Apparently United and City can and will both offer the same deal, and Sneijder wants to play for a huge club with a grand history, but De Jong is moaning at him to go to City.

Something along the lines of:
Gk
Defense
Carrick - Fletcher
Valencia - Nasri - Nani
Rooney

Switching it up to give Hernandez etc game time as well, he's not my first choice but at some of the prices mentioned it's a no brainer.

Saying that odds are very much on it just being a negotiating tactic to get more out of Arsenal.

Very doubtful, we will offer him a lot more than utd but if it is true what you say in the 2nd part of your post then he will go utd anyways.

City are meant to be cutting back on the silly wages, paying Sneijder upwards of 300k per week would make them look daft. I doubt they will do it.
