Is this going to be like the Suarez deal when he claimed the deal was agreed for £18m, then when it became clear no deal was agreed he then claimed Ajax pulled out and wanted more money. A few days later he then said we'd agreed a deal for £16m and when people pulled him up on the fact that he claimed Ajax pulled out of the deal previously because they wanted more money and this offer was less, he claimed the £18m offer was actually €18m.

Burned Alive, you seem like a smart guy, why do you pay any attention to that ****? He's a **** that has no inside info whatsoever. He just looks who we've been linked with in the press and then adds a bit of bs to it to make it look original; if he's wrong he'll claim the player had a late change of heart or club x offered him more money and if he's right, he's a genius.

I mentioned it previously to Purdy, a few months back he linked us with over 20 players in just 2 posts on rawk, at the same time saying Reina was both leaving and staying.

I seem to remember reading quite a few reports suggesting bojan would leave to get more first team action. Very good player for whoever gets him if he does leave.

Busquets won't leave and he's such a diver/cheater I wouldn't want him in the premier league anyway.

im always in 2 minds about players that don't make it in the big teams. A bit harsh on bojan as he doesn't stand a chance of 1st team football with the current barca 1st 11. I would take him on loan with an option to buy.
 
I would like to know why these idiots keep popping up with reports of Modric to Utd for £20m.... seriously do these people even know anything about football at all?

Spurs gamble on an unproven player for a mere £16m. This player then proves to be a huge hit. This does not equate to the value of a player not even in his prime yet, who has just signed a new long term contract going up by 25% :rolleyes:

It's going to take a HUGE bid for Spurs to rip the heartbeat of the first team they've spent hundred's of millions of £££'s building during the past 5 years. Modric is out of Man Utd's price range unless they really gamble and bust the bank.

This is a world that Darren Bent is worth £20m, Torres is worth £50m and Carroll is worth £35m... and Levy is no mug!

Ok then, how about selling Defoe for £9m and then buying him back for £15m? :p

edit: I really shouldn't poke too much fun when we're very possibly going to spend over £30m on Downing and Henderson :o

Downing i could live with aslong as we still got Mata but id rather if rumours are true and Valencia only want 20m Euros just give them it dont debate on price as he is easily worth that.

Actually, its funny you should mention it. I'm well aware of his history and was going to post a slightly sarcastic post with it, however I thought I'd see if anyone knew who he was and also if it'd just be mistaken for Phil Thompson. I guess it just passed everyone else by :D
