So this N'Gog fella, I'm hoping he'll turn out to be another Danny Welbeck, lots of playing time to boost his confidence, few goals, and he should blossom after only playing 5 mins here and there for Liverpool?

Anyone want to burst my bubble?

Henderson spent 50% of last season passing to the righ back every time he got the ball in the middle of the park. Much better RW than CM IMO

Well if your evaluation of Henderson is 20m then it's going to cost you at least 25m to sign Welbeck ;)

Ngog did well for us in brief Europa league spell but when KK arrived wasnt used much, His problem is imo he has no strength at all he is very very easily pushed off the ball, He wont be no Welbeck for you i dont think but may get better if he is starting week in week out for ya

World class fees for what are only decent players. Ever likely the Premier League is full of foreign players. 71 million for Carrol, Henderson and Jones is a joke.

I hope Jones is worth £16m, that better not be coming out of the Sneijder fund! :(

Could you afford his reportedly £200k a week wages??...i read that because of his outrageous wage demands thats why Utd have gone off the boil....he'd literally bankrupt you guys with his wage demands lol:p

Also hearing rumours that Wenger is after Willian from Shaktar...they want £13mill for him but are willing to do a deal, swap with Denilson plus £4mill on top...seen him play in the group stages where he seemed pretty impressive compared to Denilson so id be happy to see Denilson leave and Willian coming in to replace him.

Unfortunately that is what football has come to, we'll have to be able to afford them to get the kind of players you need to win the Premier League and Champions League.

Chelsea have stolen ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Wesley Sneijder - with talks believed to be scheduled with Inter Milan before the end of the week.

The Blues are understood to be ready to table a £30million offer for the Dutchman, and reports in Italy suggest Sneijder and his wife would prefer a move to London rather than Manchester.

It's only the metro but still good news. :)

The English transfer market has gone totally mad - £16m for Jones, £20m for Henderson (Valuation, irrespective of player swops etc), Carroll £35m....it's totally ridiculous, and unquantifiable.

You can pick up quality like Bebe for around £7m if you'd dare work the foreign market....

Sneijder wants a big club with a great history though, which is the one thing tipping it in favour of Man Utd over Chelsea/City.

And dont forget a team that can cater to his so called ridiculous wage demands which im sure the Russkie in charge of Chelsea will be more than happy to do...i mean lets face it, £50mill earlier this yr for an out of sorts striker is taking the proverbial really...i wouldnt be at all surprised if Torres turns out to be the new Shevchenko at Chelsea:p.

Well, if he wants around 200k per week and Fergie thinks he would fit in well, then Man Utd can afford it... if they think he's worth it.
