Why would City accept an offer of £20m though?

I think City made it clear they won't be dictated to by players with the Bellamy transfer saga.

I suppose that's true. Tevez clearly wants to leave.

Would they not loan him out to a club?

Why keep a player who doesn't want to play for you?

surprised manu are selling oshea, hes a good cover for any def or mid position, he doesnt excel at any of them but can cover fine for a couple of games.

brown and gibson wont be missed.

have manu got a keeper sorted yet?

De Gea is blatantly sorted but it won't go through till July 1st.

So far we've got Jones in and a net spend of 3million if these transfers all go through.

Young and De Gea would put it at 35million. Still a decent wedge left for a central midfielder and with Scholes, Hargreaves and Gibson gone it'd be a definite purchase.

Tevez didn't want to be there since January, he still gave 100% for them in the games he played though.

It will all depend on what City think's best. Keep him, knowing he'll still do his job but always have the speculation over his future and the uncertainty that comes with it or cash in on him now.

I can't see him going on loan.

Tevez doesn't want to to leave the club i don't think hence his commitment on the pitch, and his praise of the team and the owners. This is very different to other players in the past who have engineered a way to leave by hitting out at the club and players.

I just think he wants to leave England so he can be with his children who because of his enstranged wife will not move here.

If he leaves then so be it, Next year i really see Balotelli and Dzeko stepping up plus who ever the arrival after Tevez is could be like Hernandez and not stop scoring.

I think we would rather hold Tevez to his contract and pay him a weekly wage if he turns up or not then be dictated by other clubs and sell him for an embarrassingly low price of 20m.

So as long as Manchester is in England, wanting to leave England means he wants to leave City.
He doesn't want to leave the club otherwise he would not be here now.
He just wants to be with his children.

If you want to leave a club you dont show up to trophy parades, help your team win a trophy, play your heart out in every game etc etc
how long's left on Tevez contract?

3 years i think.

I think what you're trying to say is that he doesn't want to leave for footballing reasons. It's pretty clear he wants to leave though. He wouldn't have requested to leave earlier in the season otherwise.

Yeh :p

I think that was more his agent than Tevez tbh like it was with Rooney except Tevez never spoke one word about it. (Did Rooney? i cant remember)

I suppose there's one more season they can hold on to him and get a big fee then. All depends how seriously City want to regard these ffp regs.

Goal.com/fail

Reporting since we missed out on Jones were targeting Dann for approx £10mil dunno weather to be happy about that or not =/ Talksport also claim were going to jump at chance practically to sign Jefferen thanks to Spanish radio last night which i very much doubt.

We are taking them very seriously from what i know.

We are starting to build on the land surrounding COMS which will bring in money as well as the numerous sponsorships and endorsement deals that we can now pick up through HRH :p and Champions League.
As well as that we are this summer selling off some big earners in Adebayor, RSC, Bridge, Bellamy, Possibly Tevez and possibly Given.

He cost City ~£35m didn't he? If so, they'd only book a profit towards the ffp regs on anything over £21m if they sold him now. If they sold him with 1 year remaining, anything over £7m would be profit.

£35m now would equate to the same as a £21m offer with 1 year left on his deal - and considering Young's being touted about at ~£16m, it wouldn't be that unreasonable for Tevez to fetch ~£20m with 1 year left on his deal.

I'm pretty sure that earnings from things such as this won't be included in the ffp calculations.

the earnings from a development should be, although it depends when they are completed at start generating money as well. I was also thinking City would want at least 40m for Tevez when I said they had one more year.

Gutted if Jones goes anywhere, but seems like it's going to happen now.

Damn chicken farmers - not a selling club my ****!!! Was hoping to get a decent manager and start building a team around Jones, Hoillet, Olsson, Rochina, Kalinec and others.

I know 16-17m is a reasonable amount, but last year he showed just how good he will be, and it's a snip if someone like Henderson is going for 20m.

As much as I hate the chicken farmers, It's not solely down to them. Jones signed a new 4 year deal in February this year. This was overseen by John Williams, who at the time (I'm guessing) Didn't think Jones would come on as well as he has. I think this is the reason for the low buy out price. At the end of the day Jones wants to leave and a contract means nothing in todays game.
