They're probably who I'd worry about him going to most to be honest. The amount of goals he can score from the edge of the box is amazing, he just puts it in either corner. Arsenal can get the ball to the edge of the box with ease then pass it about and do sod all, he would just bloody lamp the thing and probably score!

if arsenal pay etoo money (>30M) and pay etoo wages (>100K) the world will implode.
 
It's weird, Arsene can't look at his squad at think they can win the league if his other competitors are improving as well? I don't understand why they aren't being active as they're only gonna slip further down?
 
Sylvain Marveaux has reportedly failed a medical with Liverpool. It's always been said that he'd have to pass a strict medical before we'd agree to sign him.
 
Is it just me or is anyone really wanting Cesc to go to Barca? I want to see him in La Liga, he just just seems out of place at Arsenal for some reason.

Eto'o at Chelsea? Only if they sell Drogba and Anelka IMO. Man City is more realistic. I think he'd only sign for a team in the CL...

Hope we get Modric and Young and call it a day on our transfers... btw, whats the status on the Young deal?

and it looks like Bebe is done at utd. Read in the paper today that Fergie is done with him unless he destroys the league in Turkey.

Don't know what he was thinking when signing him in the first place. Charity? He didn't even seem him play and was willing to pay more for him than Chico!!!

btw, I wonder what Chico's worth is now. Probably around the 20m mark I would say.

Young isnt far away, hes on holiday this week and will apparently seal the deal when he gets back. I suppose he also has personal issues to sort out too after the wedding debacle.

I cant see Modric but id think there will be another player coming in of that ilk and then i suspect we will be done nice and early and we can smugly sit back as the chaos develops elsewhere. That would be nice!

There was a story going that he has the same agent as some top players and we bought him in exchange for first refusal on other players. Highly illegal and unlikely but id like to believe its tru as it would at least justify the signing in the first place.

Chico is worth well in excess of £20m, prob close to double that at current prices given his age and potential for development.

Arsenal have made him what he is. Also did you not see the stats posted on the other page about Fabregas having more assists than anyone else in the last 5 years in the top 5 leagues in Europe, hardly being held back at Arsenal if he's out assisted people like Xavi, Dani Alves and Iniesta...
