Nothing special going on at my workplace today, just another ordinary day.
Thinking of my great uncle Aiden, who flew out over europe manning the tail gun of a Lancaster and never came back.
I only recently found out that over 50,000 RAF Bomber Command airmen lost their lives in WWII.
Truly humbling.

Aye, people don't appreciate just how many people lost their lives in WW2, all the talk is about WW1.
You think so? I would have said it was the other way around. I see/hear lots about WWII, but barely anything for WWI.
Currently reading a book about WWI. So many men thrown away.
