What film did you watch last night?

Paul - 6/10

Sucker Punch or what ever its called. Meh what a load of tosh... Other then few bits and bats in the movie i'll give it a 4/10

13 Assasin's - 8/10 Last 1 hour of the movie says it all...

I Am You.

Australian film about a 15yo girl who goes missing in 1999. Genuninely one of the most disturbing and harrowing films of its type that I have seen.

Gripping film, both with some excellent and average acting which takes the glass off what was a very good film. 8/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 (Bluray)

Liked it a lot - best one so far, had to double check the rating on the cover after a bit!

Stargate (Bluray)

Brilliant transfer, always like the film, even the missus enjoyed it!

Tonight its Bridget Jones Diary (picked up the Bluray at the weekend) with the missus.

A couple of chuckles at the start and towards the end but was a complete surprise that grabbed my attention for the entire film

7/10 Good - Worth watching

Awesome film, watched it purely by chance when it was on BBC2 not long back.

With it being Chris O'Dowd I just assumed it was a new series, didn't twig that it was a film until about half way through! :o

Then I was gutted as I wanted to see more (especially with the ending!) :D

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

9/10
Absolutely brilliant film, got the English dubbed version. Can't wait to see the other two films.

Watched that the other week. It had it's moments, and some fantastic moments at that, but it just dragged on. It was never ending and that spoilt it for me. Plus I really didn't like any of the characters.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, ruthless computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. When the pair link Harriet’s disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from almost forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history. But the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves. Based on the trilogy of books by Stieg Larsson, to be followed by 'THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE'and 'THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS NEST'.

One of my favorite films / books. Thought the first film was outstanding. Brilliant, and didn't really have much to complain about. The other two aren't as strong but still very good. Watch them with subtitles, much better way to watch foreign films.

Catch me if you can 8/10

I am still struggling to believe that this is based on a true story. Interesting story and a nice length at just over 2 hours.

human centipede. had this recorded from syfy from a few weeks ago. absolutely brutal film. still can't believe they are making a second.

although not visually horrific in the same way that say hostel and the saw films are there is just something wrong with it that made me feel uneasy/ uncomfortable watching it.

Rise of the foot soldier on blu ray. Being a true story, i had no sympathy for the lead character, or his three friends who ended up as they did. How much of it is really true, ive no idea, but it's probably the best british gangster film ive seen.

Donnie Darko

Inevitable with any cult film, I did find it a little over hyped. Not to the point of Requiem for a Dream but still, overrated. Still a great film though. I look forward to watching it again when it's no so fresh in my mind.

Burn After Reading

I thought the theme behind Burn After Reading was really funny... almost everyone is obsessed with themselves, stupid and doesn't have the a clue as to what's going on. Brad Pitt's performance was a highlight.
