You're hatred betrays the points you are stumbling into here. Anderson.is a talent. is he a proven world beating midfielder? No. ive had this out with gilly showing my support for ando but you dont see barca switching targets and throwing 35 mill in for him instead of fab, do you? Why? Because he hasnt 'done' it yet. through.injury, lack.of chances. i didnt see him starting the cl final unless im mistaken? Why s that if he has proven himself beyond doubt to fergie. he hasnt played for brazil for 3 years dedpite them being in a mire ... he is unproven.

Fletcher doesn't commit silly fouls, and breaks up play extremely well. Unfortunately a lot of people don't seem to realise that being good defensively is actually just as hard as being good in attack - but because most amateur footballers only goal hang the basic skills of defence aren't widely appreciated. Having the positional sense to be in the right place to block passing lanes doesn't come naturally, and I would argue can't be taught.

You also seem to be forgetting a pretty important tenet of football. A football team isn't like Lego, where you can pull one brick out and just replace it with another - players personalities and style of play is hugely important. Have you considered that Fletcher might just play well with other folks around him (he's very unselfish for one)? Same could be said for Berbatov. He plays amazingly sometimes, but he's not always on the same wavelength as Nani/Rooney/Hernandez. Whereas Hernandez and Rooney just click. Individually Cole and Yorke could be pretty pants, but together they were amazing.
 

Yawn i posted loads in the run up to and after the cl final but you go believe what you want to believe. the truth is out there you can use the search function to prove yourself wrong but i know you wont even try. its so easy.

and as for the asda thread that merely illustrated that 99% of ocuk'ers clearly have a.much less interesting life than they would like to have. i foud it pretty amusing but for inverted reasons that you might have.

Cheets, I have nothing against you apart from your questionnable foreign-football-team-shirt-wearing-antics but you do seem to love this notion that everyone else is an armchair fan except yourself and thus we are not worthy of your presence and it gets a bit boring / repetitive.

'cause it's a transfer thread Cheets, Wigan are **** and the targets they bring in aren't even worth talking about?

That and you account for about one half of the total Wigan fans world wide.

The top clubs in this country spend the most and attract the better players, of course they're going to be talked about more then some barnacle of the league.

But see, you know i think anderson is good. im sure i referenced his no look pass multiple times. but that doesnt make him proven quality does it? Its like there is a man utd fanboi crew and anything you say in here that dares to defy this makes you public enemy number one.

im realistic not sadistic like half the folks here.

and nzog played left back even if slightly attacking he must be able to tackle some and fletcher isnt 2 way at all. its 100% nose bleed when he gets near the half way line. after that you.might as well just kick the ball off the pitch.

£27M for Modric laughable? I think it's a fair offer. The 50M purchase of Torres has just made everything else seem substantially inferior (and Carroll)
 
I was taking about this today, IF using the Bent and Carroll system. Modric is worth one Carroll and half a Bent imho. Going by the inflated market of course.

Thats the confusing part for me you see, in what way did i stalk anyone? I just go there to do my shopping. now when people tried to find me on facebook or went to chadderton with cameras - that IS stalking. For my part i was pretty clean here it was everyone else who wanted to take it to the stalking level no?

I love that you've just completely ignored all the points I made on the last page. It shows your openness toward reasoned debate is limitless.
 
The Running Man can't bare to have a perfectly balanced debate with someone, he's much like many other posters across the board as soon as they see sense in someone else's logic or they simply figure out that they're argument can't stand up, they go off on a tangent or ignore posts.
