I love that you've just completely ignored all the points I made on the last page. It shows your openness toward reasoned debate is limitless.

Sorry if i have ss you can see im fending off tom, shamikebab, tummy others plus defending.zog, attacking carrick etc its a lot to do.in one afternoon from a phone whilst im at work.

Playing less than 20 league matches for 3 consecutive seasons scoring 2 in the process and never cementing himself as the number 1,2 or 3 option in the middle, in what way do you think he IS proven?

He's made 73 appearances over 4 years in the league? WHERE THE **** DID 20 OVER 3 SEASONS COME FROM?

What more does he have to do to "prove" his role to you?

'cause it's a transfer thread Cheets, Wigan are **** and the targets they bring in aren't even worth talking about?

That and you account for about one half of the total Wigan fans world wide.

The top clubs in this country spend the most and attract the better players, of course they're going to be talked about more then some barnacle of the league.

Not on about that, on about the posters that write essays on how crap players are for their beloved team.

You should have just grown a pair and spoken to her in your suit.

It was ever so slightly creepy the way you approached it to be honest.

Anyway, we digress. What does Anderson need to do to become "proven" in your little world?

The retarded part was mentioning on here. the creepy bit was the overreaction on here invading my privacy. But thsts my own fault. for.me it was pretty clear cut i go shopping on a sunday spoke to her one week or two then didnt speak to her again. how it got dragged out like that i have no idea tbh.

Sooooooooooo many chelsea fans on here :/

**** club, no fans. :p

£27M for Modric laughable? I think it's a fair offer. The 50M purchase of Torres has just made everything else seem substantially inferior (and Carroll)

Spurs don't want to sell, don't need the money and Modric is on a long contract. If he goes for anything less than £35mil, I'd be very surprised.

(and now back to your scheduled episodes of "Man Utd fans arguing with their own reflection" and "Arsenal suicide watch".)

Ya but i can take it or leave it..i left it no problem, it was everyone else who couldnt thats not my problem! I was just wondering if anyone else had been in a similar situation thats all. nothing more nothing less...

Anyway... back ON TOPIC. I've been wondering something lately, why did none of the big 4 clubs ever seriously try to steal Tim Cahill away from Everton?

I've always really rated him, and it seems weird that nobody else ever went after him. Unless he's just too dedicated an Everton bloke...

or Arteta, I don't understand why United aren't looking at him, ok he had a pretty poor season but he's still a good creative CM.

Tim Cahill is 31, how often do big clubs spend big money on players that age? Even Arteta is 29, it's fairly unusual to go for someone that age, especially as Everton would probably want quite a bit.

whats the point in United looking at Arteta tho, hes not a bad player but Arteta is never gona be happy goin from a loved Everton player to a bench player behind Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson, it just wouldnt work. imo

Not many players would be happy benchwarming when there's 3 worse players being picked ahead of them :)

he is too dedicated an everton bloke however i dont think hes good enough for a top 4 club he doesnt score enough on the ground, its all headers for him.

Or maybe he flatters to deceive? He does a job for Everton but tbh I've always thought that he was painfully one dimensional. Dont get me wrong he's fantastic in the air but that's pretty much it, I'd wager all his assists come from knock downs as well.

Big fish small pond (no disrespect to Everton) he'd look totally out of place at United or Chelsea. It's the same situation with Kranjcar I remember when everyone wanted United to sign him when he was at Portsmouth but what's he done at Spurs? Big fish small pond. These players just aren't good enough for the top clubs.

TBH it's debates like that which just go to show just how underrated the likes of Fletcher and Carrick are.

lol he's better than all 3 of them, marginally but still better.

Why dont united just stick ferdinand or smalling as their CDM?

---------De Gea

Rafael - Rio - Vidic - Evra

-------- Smalling

Young ---- Shrek ---- Nani

--- Berbatov -- Hernandez

Seems like a decent line up to me, they could switch rooney with berba and stick giggs or carrick in CM
