Papers saying that nani+20 million for wesley. seriously if fergie does this he should be fired or at least you guys can begin to understand the abuse he gets from some quarters and up the ante to get him out sooner than later.
Nani is really good. we'd practically be giving him away. why cant we offer out valencia instead (well apart from the obvious that we overpaid for him and that inter wouldbt want him)...

Nani was furious he got dropped for the cl final, and i cant say i.blame him. not only did nani contribute so much more over the season - but valencia looked like the biggest donkey out there on the pitch. for this huge mistake what fate befall fergie? None but nani might get shipped out. its urmtterly backward.
Same goes for Berbatov.
We were likely going to lose anyway but we barely threatened them at all. Stall out defending doesn't work unless you have a superbly calibrated defensive team like Inter (and even then, Barca got through but it was wrongly called offside). Or you get lucky like Arsenal (
).To be fair I do like Nani and I guess Valencia was only chosen because hes a bit more solid defensively which was the way Utd played for the final and It didn't pay off, I would have liked to have seen fergie take a risk with a more attacking line up.

Yea its odd that in fantasy football he was the highedt scoring mu
dfielder in the epl. That he scored more than twice as many loints as the next man utd midfielder tells its own story.Everyone seems to think Nani would have made a big difference in the final - its however certainly not gaurenteed, and for all anyone here knows - Utd could have lost the game 3-0 because of him as much as winning 4-3 (even if personallly I think it would have been about 85% chance of the former if not more)
£15m for him would still be too little though - £20-25m would be a good deal and he would probably do just as well if not better in Italy....not that I think Utd will end up with Sneijder, they wont - I know Utd are good at deception (like suggesting the Dutch No 1 keeper was their preferred target earlier in the summer) but personally think Utd arent after Sneijder at all and its just been one (false) rumour on top of another one (unfortunately)

Nick, please, please, pleeeaaaaaase read your posts before you hit reply. So frustrating having to decipher everything. 
Thats a little harsh isnt it? Utd were on equal footing for the first 20 -30 mins (just from how the players were on the night) - and even upto over 1/2 time the actual score was still 1-1.
I agree in the 2nd half it was mainly one way traffic though (but could be argued that on another night Utd could have been up 2 or 3 up in the first 15 minutes or so)

i hate seeing these rumours about players plus cash deals,i cannot remember when i have actually seen one happen,apart from championship manager

Yeah but how many do we have who can play there well? It's all well and good listing a load of players but if half of them are average at best there then it's no good.
