Just been reading Enrique still doesnt want to sign a new contract with us. I say better off just leaving it at that and bring in a new LB. If someone bids for him then sell him otherwise he will just leave on a free next year.

Dont think he will play as well this year as he will be concentrating on getting another club

It's well known that Luka is a massive racist and hates Benoit and his ridiculous haircut.

Either that or it refers to Bale :p

Yes, see someone's reply on the previous page - not something I was aware of personally.

I assume you're talking about Stewart's post, which is quite obviously sarcastic to any half brained person

they need to sort it out sooner rather later, or end up last day of the transfer window without a left back.

i see mention on sky that blackburn are showing an interest in Honda, can't see him being interested in a move there from cska ?

can someone give me an idea of why liverpool are looking at doni ?

wouldn't say bizarre as disapointing for chelsea, he wasn't good enough last time, not sure he's improved enough to make a difference this time.

on the reasonable side, with essien out for 6 months last i saw, it might work for chelsea, but if i was a chelsea fan i'd be wanting to improve the midfield anyway so would have thought they would be buying rather than loaning

ideal for west ham as they get to keep hold of him in the hope they get back into the prem next season.

He's significantly improved over last time, at Charlton he was playing more in the Lampard role, running into the box, trying to score, and he wasn't really good at it, he was always moving, constantly called a workhorse(by the people that think constantly moving = really good footballer), and wasn't really very good.

At Newcastle to a degree but more at West Ham he actually got pushed back into the DM role, he still moves about but not in a box to box kind of way, he's far calmer, moves a lot less, holds his position and has become a pretty damn solid defensive midfielder. At Chelsea he was a VERY poor Lampard replacement, he's now far closer to a Makelele player.

Also a loan makes perfect sense, who wants to bring in a new transfer, on a 80k wage, at his age, with no resale AND with Essien only out injured for 6 months. Sure its a bad injury but he's come back from equally bad injuries to play a full season, twice. If you buy Parker, you'll have a long term expensive bench warmer.

Likewise I think Parker both wants to stay at West Ham but also play in the prem league as he's starting to establish himself in the England team and could easily be going to the Euro's, so a year with Chelsea, then back to West Ham in the premiership, everyone wins.

Where's Tombstone?

Skysports.com understands that Blackburn Rovers are ready to make a bid for Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda.

A host of clubs have been linked with the CSKA Moscow midfielder, with clubs in England, Italy, Spain and France all said to be keen.

But Rovers are now ready to try and make a move for the 25-year-old and are prepared to bid £12million for his signature.

Honda has been linked with a move away from Russia all summer and although he insists he is happy in Moscow, a move to one of Europe's top leagues is sure to appeal to the former VVV Venlo ace.

Skysports.com also understand that Arsenal could enter the race for his signature with Arsene Wenger believed to be an admirer.
