I actually think if Villa spend this money wisely (and they appear to be doing so), they could potentially do very well next year. Zog is a fantastic young player and Given has another 3 seasons in him. Both relatively cheap additions when you take into account the sums recovered for Young and Downing. Hope they do well.

Hmm, not entirely sure what the wages are like in the Brazillian league, will they take on a not particularly well rated guy on 40-50k a week? I get the feeling we might be paying part of his wages if he goes there, hope not.
