Corinthians have released a statement saying they have pulled out of any deal to sign Tevez.

Looks like they didn't have the money after all.

Was about as informative as about 80% of the stuff in here.

*slowly closes laptop and retreats to a horrible hungover bliss*

Fergie making overtures about how scholes is irreplaceable and about how wellbeck and cleverly will be coming into the first team squad? I really hope not - i honestly dont see either I
of them becoming great players, and pitch time for them will just be a waste, like gibson setc.

Also berbatov not set to leave althohgh fergie said he could understand not wanting to play for an entirely unreasonable manager (or words to that effect).

Always knew the Corinthians deal was never going to come off, this deal was 'made' to get Tevex excited about moving back, now he is going to be more distraught then ever and will blame City for the deal not going through. This will prompt another transfer request and then he will request a move to a European club at a knock down price because we 'ruined' the Corinthians deal.

Or City pulled out because we want him to be involved in the deal for Aguero or Sneijder that has been rumored recently.

What is mad?

Tevez's agent is friends with the Corinthians owner, it would not surprise me if they cooked up this deal to give Tevez an excuse for leaving to Real etc.

They pull out of deal, Tevez will blame City and so will request that he leaves cheaply to another club as we ruined his dreams etc etc

Didn't Man City pick the worst time to try and get the actual value for one of their players though? They're happy to let the majority leave for way less than they paid for them, but when it comes to a player who doesn't even want to play for City or live in Manchester they try and dig their heels in?

The 17-year-old striker is expected to travel to LFC next month and if he impresses the move is likely to be made permanent.

His Mexican club Pachuca say talks have already taken place over a fee and a potential five-year deal for the Under-17 World Cup winner.

Pachuca vice president Andres Fassi said: "We are conducting negotiations with Liverpool and possibly on August 1 Marco will pay a visit to Liverpool. They want to buy 100 per cent of the rights."

Bueno caught the eye at the U17 World Cup in Mexico earlier this month but has been hampered by a calf injury in recent weeks.

The youngster is refusing to get carried away with talk of making the switch to Anfield.

"Right now I'm not aware, I've only heard rumours," he said. "It's great the thought of fulfilling the dream of going to Liverpool but now I just concentrate on doing my rehab.

From Liverpool Echo also in gossip part of our official website, Never seen the kid play but if his trail goes well i see no reason not to give it ago

What on earth are Sao Paulo doing?

First they bring on Denilson on loan, then they get Felipe Melo? Two of the worst defensive midfielders around. Sao Paulo are the new Arsenal, wanting a pair of truly awful midfielders with which to ruin their team around.

More Barca

I hope a lot of what Xavi says is lost in translation and that is why it comes across so badly, but to say he cannot understand criticism of him being disrespectful because he was "only acting in the best interest of Cesc and Barca" is bizarre.
