The deal would have been done had Corinthians given the assurance they can pay the installments. Especially considering they were counting on tv money etc, they didnt so the deal fell through.

He would do it so he doesnt have him at the club constantly moaning and not being played.

The bid was accepted, they just didnt give the assurances City wanted.

I will be very surprised if Tevez plays for City again tbh....

Anyway, i hope we can get the Aguero deal done so he can fly to Dublin and play those few games before the CS and Premier League.

Yeah so if they didnt have the assurances to pay the money then City would have declined the offer saying you cant prove you can pay it. They would have accepted it if they could have proved it but they couldnt so City didnt accept.

If that was the case then they would cut their losses and sell him for less than holding out for £50million as he is on £250,000 a week he is going to be there for 3 months, averaging 13 weeks, therefore costing City £3,250,000 to just "sit in argentina" so he doesnt moan. Im pretty sure that Tevez will moan about City treating him in that way as he will not be training and therefore will probably be worth less than £20,000,000 come january as he will not be match fit etc etc. Makes no sense what so ever.

Arsenal wont sell Fabregas but I doubt they will send him to spain so he doesnt disrupt the team. Tottenham wont sell modric but they wont send him the croatia so he doesnt disrupt the team. Your theory has no logic behind it what so ever.

I would guarantee if he is still there for the charity shield, he will feature at some point

Aguero's not Spanish though so I doubt he's got the same afection for Atletico as say Torres or De Gea so I don't think he'd care whatsoever joining Real. From what I've heard over the past 24 hours though is that Jose wants a striker more like Drogba, I did read that Adebayor was close to making a move permanetly to Real but Arry's comments today suggests maybe it's not a done deal.

Im sure I read a while back the Athletico have a clause in his contract saying that he cant join Real Madrid direct from them. Not sure how true this is or where I read it though so I wouldnt quote me on it.

I believe the offer was accepted and it was only when City/Corinthians changed the deal City asked for assurances. Either way its not happening now so we move on.

By saying send him to Argentina what i meant was that he would not always have to be super fit for every game he would be able to attend training and then fly to Argentina and have extended time with his family before the deal with Corinthians probably resurfacing and being completed in Jan.

Possibly but only if necessary, i cant imagine Mancini resting Aguero say for a Carling Cup match and then playing Tev over Dzeko and Balotelli.

Mancini is trying to structure a squad and having a player who like you say clearly doesnt want to be here is not good for the squad. Hence why Mancini left Bellamy and Adebayor back at Carrington to take part in Manchester City XI

did he say anything about adebayor's wages? do you have a link to the article you are referring to?
I think i read they want us to pay something like 100k of his 150k. Something i cannot see happening considering we would not even loan Bellamy last year and Adebayor when he likes is better than Bellamy.

He's already said that he's not an atletico fan, he is an independient fan.

I can see your point for sending Tevez back now and then as it will make it happier. When you first said it, it came across as send him there and not have him back until we can sell him.

The thing is Tevez will still play and try his best as his agent has said today, Bellamy and Ade dont want to play and Mancini doesnt like them anyways so wont play them. As a Newcastle fan I know how disruptive Bellamy can be as we loaned him out before selling him. As good as a player he is hes a **** and im actually surprised he hasnt done something stupid that would get him arrested.

On another note I hope you do sign Aguero. I like him and would look forward to seeing him in the EPL. Dont think he is as good as Tevez but would certainly cover him to an extent

Yeh sorry, i was typing it on my new Blackberry Playbook and the battery was nearly gone so i just posted it without a full explanation.

I have no doubts that he would as seen when he had his transfer request rejected, he went on to be "Joint" top scorer.
I just don't think Mancini would want him to play.

Yeh i hope so too, he along side Dzeko or Balotelli i think will really shine because he doesnt have the power or strength to lead the line like Tevez.

Ruled him out already I think. Jol's trying to build a young team, so imagine we'll sign someone from the dutch/german league or similar.

i think keane would do well at fulham. jol was (still is) a big fan of his and he'd bring valuable experience and would net you a few

well, if the spurs board could be pursuaded into the school of thought that if we got shot of crouch and keane and replaced with drogba, then it's a smaller wage outlay

What will Bale et al think if you break your wage structure for Drogba (or Adebayor)? They'll all be demanding more money too. It's not as simple as ship out 2 players to enable you to pay 1 player bigger money.

it's been coming, it kind of needs to happen. spurs need to decide what kind of club we want to be but a lot depends on the stadium situation. it's not all about wages but wages do seem to breed success as they will attract the best players and hold onto the best ones. look at the modric situation for example, as redknapp said, he could go and get triple what we pay him, that's got to hurt!
i don't want us turning into man city with a 'how much do you want us to pay you' kind of attitude and i know spurs are trying to address it and the stadium situation is a real catch 22 but we're never going to be a contender until something changes.
just imagine what it would've been like for spurs if abramovich had chosen us over chelsea? although chelsea have been shadowed by man city over the past 3 yrs in terms of big spending and they never really got stupid over things (apart from torres maybe? bit too early to say though) but heck, they attracted mourinho (who i think is great) and brought great success to the bridge. i would have loved to have had that at the lane. don't get me wrong, i've liked the jol and redknapp eras but it just doesn't compete with what chelsea have been through with abramovich.

I disagree, it's not arrogance if you really are that ****ing good :)
Take a read of this interview, great read IMO, great to see a foreign star taking note of MLT's brilliance in the 90s: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ew-Paul-Scholes-best-midfielder-20-years.html

I agree, i thought he gave a very good interview there. Personally, i didn't think he seemed very arrogant.

Then again, i like it when players appear arrogant, when it comes to the game anyway. "you think your a great player, Prove it then!!" (i'm looking at you Bentdner:p)
