I would forget the email client and have google mail check your ntlworld email and forward it to you, this way you get push email for for your NTLworld email as well.
Ive updated to the latest firmware and its turned my text message scrren into yellow messages for recieved and blue message for sent. Is there anyway I can change this back to black? Totally forgot how to do it.
Another thing I've been wondering is I don't like how the incoming text messages get displayed in full in the notification bar. Is there a way to disable this?
hasn't all ntlworld mail been migrated to gmail now? If so you might be able to add it as an extra google account, or worst case, use IMAP

yes, the idea is to get Gmail to pick up your NTl world emails, but rather than have NTLworld forward them you can setup Gmail to pick them up for you.
Got my Samsung car kit yesterday & v impressed with Google nav etc. However, ever since, I get voice alerts for new emails and can't work out how to turn it off. Anyone know how to shut that irritating computer women off? Thanks.
Under "Accounts & Imports"
I've no idea where accounts & imports is, I can't find it. Where exactly is it on the stock email client?
