Inter playing hard ball, I'd expect it to happen sooner or later though, especially as they haven't ruled it out themselves

I dont think Fergie has ever bought back a player he has previously let go - but there could always be a first time :D


Utd just arent going to end up with Sneijder end of (and I win either way - I am either right and he doesnt sign, or he does and I see him playing in my team anyway lol) - whatever Becks (or anyone else for that matter) "knows" its gone on too long,....does anyone actually know where Gill is atm (USA or still in Europe somewhere?) Havent read anything since his trip to Monaco .....apart from his son going to Uni


edit - ok ok Im holding out for that 5% chance of Sneijder signing too......as well as the 0.1% chance of someone like De Rossi signing as well lol

Gill has been with the squad since the Seattle game, I dont doubt nothing is happening at the moment but I'd expect it all to pick up again the nearer the deadline gets

Ok fair enough - I have seen a few things about the tour in general (apart from match reports) but nothing mentioning Gill particularly :)

It does look like quite a few clubs are waiting for middle to end of Aug before signing people (which feels unusual for majority of window to be this quiet)

Hopefully though we wont leave it as late as what's commonly known as Spurs time in the transfer window ;)

Edit - the Utd -Costa enquiry is quite old from reports I have read (possibly leading upto Jan window) , not sure if it was same article that alluded to it though.
