Surely they cant sack wenger though. its not his fault that nasri and fabregas want to leave- but he has generated almost 40 million wealth through signing and selling them on! For a team more concerned about wealth and sustainability than outright achievement wenger has consistently achieved this and more.
It is his fault they want to leave though, and its his fault he made this massive "stand" against Nasri leaving, then looked like a weak fool as Nasri seems set to leave only a week or two later.
Arsenal failure to win things is Wenger's fault and Cesc wouldn't be so intent to leave already if Arsenal were winning things. While we're getting decent money overall, and 20mil for Nasri is ridiculous, Cesc is worth an awful lot more than 36mil, and together it barely makes up for getting half the value for Vieira and Henry that we should have.
Will depend who we get in to replace Cesc, personally I think Wilshire has more than earned a shot at that kind of role, Ramsey hasn't looked anywhere near that level YET but has potential. So what we desparately need is someone who can step into Wilshire's role of last season which was basically the DM< and ditch Song. Jesus last season Wilshire played deeper than Song, and Song did smeg all going forwards, he's worthless defending and worthless going forward.
Wilshire + a new and actually quality DM, and someone maybe like Mata would make a great midfield 3 with Ramsey getting games in there aswell.
But if we keep Song in there, there isn't a possible way that the midfield three could be as good as last year.
I just don't trust Wenger at all, he won't sort out the defence, we'll bring in a CB who will have the same issues all of ours have now, wrong system, stupid players around them. I don't trust him to drop players who aren't even close to good enough and so I don't trust him to buy replacements that we need, at left back, right back, DM and right wing.
