Certainly its not him. Its me and my if being him would give me his typing skills then i would kill to be him. I am poor at typing that am not even fit to try his boots in that area!!. And oh am a Lfc fan not Arsenal!

The world must have gone mad, DM has a fan club:p

Just hope Wenger does invest the incoming fees on quality replacements, just a shame it happened so late in the window. We really needed players in earlier so they can at least have a chance of hitting the ground running. Obviously the timing of the Fab transfer is purely down to Barca not stumping up enough sooner, but he should have let Nasri go when the first bids came in.

Not sure what DM has against Song. He's a good player but, like Gilberto before him, he seems to be vastly underrated.

enrique is a great bit of business for <£6m if you ask me, he may not be a Evra or a cole but playing in a decent side he could easily get to that level, and in not too long a period either

Believe Utd were after him until Evra signed his recent contract extension too (as he was threatening to go to RM I believe, although that could have been agent talk rather than from the player)

Not sure why newcastle let him go to be fair (if they had much of an option of course) - the way things are going they could easily be in the bottom three this season

Hes only got a year left on his contract and obviously had no intention of signing an extension.

The issue with a year left on the contract is that if any club offers some money he will be sold. Thinking that he is worth very little and waiting for his contract to end would be silly as you will just lose him to someone else for the sake of not wanting to spend on a player that could be free in a years time.

If Liverpool waited till january then another club would probably have bought him and then thats game over for Liverpool in that respect.

Not sure what point you're making, my response was to FrankJH:"Not sure why newcastle let him go to be fair". £6m is a really good bit of business for Liverpool.

Iniesta's best season, 12 goals, 12 assists, 61 starts, 3 sub appearances, for Barca and Spain, maybe the two best teams in the world.

Cesc, best season 23 goals, 19 assists, 41 starts, 4 subs, for Arsenal and Spain, less Spain appearances than Iniesta had and in a cup season not a qualifying one(ie 2 seasons ago Cesc was scoring and assisting in a cup against FAR stronger sides while Iniesta last season was banging them in against much less good euro qualifying teams).
Replace Iniesta with Fabregas at Barcelona and Fabregas wouldn't score or get as many assists as he does at Arsenal for two reasons, Xavi and Messi.

Replace Fabregas with Iniesta at Arsenal and Iniesta would score more and get more assists for one reason, he'd be at the centre of every Arsenal attack.

Laughable to compare the two solely on stats when one plays with two of the most productive players in history and the other plays at Arsenal.

But what about Fabregas providing balls to Messi

I bet his assists double at Barca
