I'm cautiously optimistic.

A lot depends on how the surrender monkeys bed in but if they settle in England and can adapt to the demands of the EPL I think we will be a stronger side than we were last season. We still need another striker and a LB though but as I say, cautiously optimistic. We've been linked with Dutch national first choice left back Pieters to replace Enrqiue, only 23 which suits the Cashley buying model and reading round he sounds decent.

Really it will go one of two ways, it all clicks with the cheese eaters and we get top 8 or they wave the white flag like the Frenchies normally do and we crash out of the EPL :p Either way it's going to be another interesting season at St James Park :D

If Arsenal have got money, they really need to spend it, NOW.

Nobody will care about your finances when you come 7th this season. I mean seriously, what is Wenger thinking?

There are plenty of players he could get to improve the team, even cheap ones!

If (sorry, when) they lose Nasri and Fabregas, well, it isn't going to be good times for Arsenal for a LONG time.

In Ramsey, Wilshire and Ryo Myachioachiachiachi we have some genuine fantastic talent. If Ramsey hadn't broken his leg he would have been as good as Wilshire was last season. Now he has had a proper pre-season he should be flying.

But yes, we need dramatic spending. LB, Cahill/Samba/Jagielka, Mata, keep hold of Bender for the inevitable RvP injury and Gervinho ACON.

I agree. Bendtner is in the CL Squad but then again, so are Fab and Nasri. At least we aren't going to get bothered about our players for a few years now unless RVP gets a season under his belt without injury.

He's fantastic, top 4 (along with Cole, Evra and Baines) but even me as a Newcastle fan would struggle to say the best.

Exactly, he's one of the better LB's for sure but not as good as the three you mentioned

I'd put him on a par (maybe a bit better) with Clichy & BAE tbh

Bendtner has said he's agreed terms with an unnamed club, so he's on his way.
