what i would like to know is, If i pre-order BF3 on Origin. and say like i had to re-download BF3 for what ever reasons.
Is it like steam where you can download your game as many times you like? Or is ther a restriction on how many times you can re-download your game?

Q: Can I re-download old games I purchased?
A: Absolutely. All your previous purchases are still accessible from Origin.

Q: Can I re-download my games in general?
A: If you need to, yes. Please note that your already installed and previously purchased games are safe, sound, and work in exactly the same way as before.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of computers on which I can install my game?
A: Origin enables you to access your games from any PC, anytime, anywhere. Should you have an issue, contact Origin Help and we'll get you fixed right up!

Q: Will my game download ever expire?
A: Digital download rights remain available for at least one year after purchase. Origin typically doesn’t retire games, and we’ve only retired around 10 of the 150 games we sell, and these have generally been because of the expiration of licensing rights. If you come across an issue, simply contact Origin Help and we'll reconfigure things for you.

Dosen't sound that good to me. Prefer old style :p

I honestly have no idea! Regardless, people like to moan. I prefer to to not get worked up about trivial things like this because life is too short.

+1

People get far to invested in things that don't matter or have any impact on...anything.

Also, hasn't this been known for a few months? Like since Origin was released?

I cant see anything wrong with origin tbh, no probs with anti virus, (avast here), download speeds on it are very good as well.

Oh for the good ol' days where we could simply pop a disc into a drive, install and play a game we purchased with a serial code.

You know what? I was younger back then with less cash than I have now, but funnily enough I bought more games......

So tempted to order new mobo, cpu, gpu and ram for BF3.
Not sure if to order all of those or just a gpu upgrade.

Sorry but why would you need a totally new system? Its not as if your current one is in the stone age. Wait till the beta to see how it performs.
