Here's an interview with SAF on MUTV - it touches on why Obertan was sold, what's happened with Bebe, a bit about or loans, it also has SAF talking about further signings and the status of our injuries etc.
For anyone that doesn't want to watch it -
Newcastle were interested in Obertan end of last season, they kept going on at us about him and Obertan wanted first team football, SAF decided that we had enough quality in the squad and we had a lot of players at his age. Easy to make his mind up in the end.
Bebe cruciate ligament, 6-7 months out, two operations and then most likely going to rehabilitate in Portugal where Anderson did his.
There won't be any signings he says, all sorts of speculation, we aren't making any moves and we're happy with the squad. There may be one or two loan deals of some more younger players out.
Evra doubtful, Fletcher & Valencia out but training well, play in reserves on Monday. Hernandez a week away from training, Carrick niggled achilies in training and should be OK.
