With the nights getting shorter, what else can I do to try to maintain the fitness I have built up this year since the clocks changed. Will have to start riding straight away after working instead of after tea, but when its mid winter its dark by 4!
I'll be able to ride at least one day at the weekends, but I normally get a few shorter rides in after work just to keep my legs spinning over and my backside like leather.
Got caught out tonight and it is very dark under the trees with no street lights out in the country on access tracks. Lots of nasty holes and ruts that are almost invisible too, don't want to become a cropper!
