In what way is signing a player who "doesnt do much apart from get stuck in" a good move as a replacement for Modric?
diarra will tighten up their defence a lot, he is a faster version of mascherano.
the money you get for modric will enable you to buy a world class striker, which is what spurs need badly more than they need modric.
