I'm confused as to why he thinks the problems we had last year would go away on their own. Going by last night's performance we are starting where we left off from the end of last years end of season form. What has happened to all the CL cash last year which was at the time "Bonus cash and would be re-invested in players?
I believe we are at the cross roads now.. We should have invested last summer when we qualified for CL and certainly in time before any competitive match this season. The lack of commitment sends out all the wrong messages that in fact, Spurs have no ambitions to move forward. If they fall behind now, then it may take years to break the top four let alone return to this season. This is obviously is turning players away. Levy said last year he wouldn't go mad on spending players last summer but in the end it may cost him dearly long term.
