Hopefully Wenger has a suitable replacement in mind, we're desperate of some creativity in the centre. Some defensive additions wouldn't go amiss either.

Yep:(...without Fabregas in our first 3 games we looked bloody rubbish creativity wise...it doesnt help that Wilshere is out with injury and doesnt look like hes going to be back in time for the game against Utd either:(...Wenger desperately needs to sign a decent creative mid fielder for when we have situations like this :/

Herp derp.

Well lets be honest, he needs to do something quick because the worst case scenario is a reality now ie Fab and Nasri gone and no Wilshere as hes injured...whats the bets that Wilshere will become our next Fabregas will he wont he saga next yr??...bloody ridiculous that Wenger and the board have got us in this stupid position.

Wilshere supposedly broke down in training today and won't just be out for the next game, but the next couple of months at least. Might be scare-mongering though.

Frimpong having a dig at Nasri on Twitter?

Money is the Roots of all Evil

So the club have anywhere from £80-100m to spend (factoring in the sale Queensland Rd) I wonder who we will buy.... No one I bet.

He just tweeted 'money is the root of all evil'. Obviously not the sharpest tool in the box is Frimpong, but it's obvious who it's about. Got to find that Nasri quote now about disliking teams with rich owners who buy a whole new team over building one up.

Fair play, I liked that lad already for his outburst at Piers Morgan the other day this has just cemented it

I think we have more merit as a club than those who have built their teams with millions of pounds.

This is why I said earlier Wenger backed himself into a corner with this god damned ridiculous statement and stance that "Arsenal won't be a big club anymore if we sell Cesc and Nasri", on top of his "we definately won't sell Nasri" stance.

He looks weak, and pathetic, and now he's confirmed we aren't a "big" club, no I don't want to open that argument again, but, you can't come out and say "if we do X, we aren't Y", then do X, when everyone on earth knew it was going to happen anyway.

AS I've said, Wenger is deluded, he's lost all control, players AREN'T staying just because its Wenger nor are they joining Arsenal anymore just because its Wenger. Mata has said he didn't join Chelsea(or won't be) over Spurs or Arsenal for money, but because they'll be in the title hunt and thats all he was looking for.

Even so, if Wenger offered the right amount, and got the deal wrapped up on July 1st, he'd be an Arsenal player already.

Bendtner not even going to Udinese, he couldn't get a game last year and wanted to go, he's flat out said he wants to stay at Arsenal but if he won't get games he wants to go.

So why not play him, you got rid of everyone else, Bendtner is a pretty large step up from Theo, Gervinho, Chamakh, and losing him to get 10mil, rather than just actually playing him. Completely god damned mental, Bendtner still seems to want to leave, I think if Arsenal fired Wenger and got Hiddink in tomorrow Bendtner would have no issue staying, and had that happened at the beginning of the window I think Cesc would have thought about staying another year as he clearly us quite upset that he hasn't had a chance to win stuff at Arsenal.

Frimpongs latest twitter post is great.

"@JackWilshere: Good luck to my friend @Nanas08 (mr Nasri) learnt a lot from him. World class player! Will be missed!" Pffffff comeon Jack

I'm really starting to like this guy, I hope it's really him :p

So 8 days of hopes being raised and dashed after more rumours turn out to be nothing ending with a last minute over priced purchase of a winger?
