Arshavin is good 80% of the time, 18 assists is nothing to be sniffed at, he's had one really attrocious game, and almost everyone was very poor against Liverpool, and even in a great team everyone has the odd woeful game. Arshavin was one of our best players in the first two games and all preseason, not the best, but way ahead of most.

makes more sense to sign nasri then sneijder... even though sneijder is a quality player... but hes 27... going to be 28 soon...

with out current young squad i think nasri would fit in perfectly...
 
Disgustingly expensive for him with one year left especially when he can't really play in the 4-4-2 we are using at the moment though.

Watching SSN and oddly enough they keep referring to a possible twist in the Nasri deal. I really dont see anything other than him signing for City today so it's probably Sky just hedging their bets

Really? Hardly expensive in this market, it's the going rate. I don't think it's possible to get an established EPL player for under 15m nowadays. If he was 29 then yeah it would be too expensive.

Also why do SSN include Young in Man U's young prospects? isn't he 26/27?
 
As i just said in the other thread, Ngog, Poulsen, Cole and Aquilani have all been omitted from the league cup squad for tonight. Considering they are fringe players who would usually play this kind of game its safe to say they are off.

Maybe so but how much did you expect him to go for? Championship players move for 5/6m nowadays. It's perfectly normal.
