I didn't think he mentioned Utd at all during his interview. Maybe Utd weren't an option for him.

Money talks and Nasri walks :p

He also said Arsenal were not passionate fans. Ouch that is going to come back to him when we play City. Talk about spitting at the fans on the way out.

Much like Adebayor did when he left...sadly Nasri hasnt got any sort of decency about him, instead of taking a leaf out of Clichy and Fabregas and thanking the supporters, he decides to go and stick the boot into the fans...****ing numpty that he is...well rid of the little shyster...had a good 5 mths with us last and then automatically thinks hes entitled to £100k a week:rolleyes:

I doubt it's all about the money (though that helps). He's joined a club that look more likely to win something this season, and in future seasons and have a more interesting project.

Possibly, i dont blame him for going if he thinks he will win more trophies at City but like Killswitch, if he had left with any dignity then id still respect him and wish him all the best but sadly i cant as hes a loathesome little ****.

Call me bitter but i dont think thats any way to treat a club thats improved you as a player despite us not winning any trophies for the past 6 yrs...a little bit of respect wouldnt go astray in all honesty.

In an interview last year he said Arsenal fans where the best. still think it odd he mentioned Highbury, he never played there.

Good point;):p...hes just peeved because we wont throw money at him like City have so is resorting to stupid petty comments now.

Why do you care what the players think? I personally couldn't care less. I just want to see good football, and my club (i don't support anyone) win.

I'm more annoyed at the way he's conducted himself throughout the whole transfer saga. I expect his comments were mainly in retaliation for the chants that were aimed at him the other week, something along the lines of 'Nasri you're a ****'. Nobody likes to be called things, but when you haven't performed well for months on end, and then you're linked with moves to a direct rival, plus you're talking in the papers every other day about this, that and the other then obviously the fans are going to get on your back.

If he wanted to move because he feels he has more chances of winning silverware at Man City then that's perfectly fine, but the manner in which he has conducted himself and virtually forced this move is a complete disgrace. Maybe if he pulled his finger out of his arse and actually put in some decent, consistent performances he could have helped us to cross the finish line but I'm sure he'll be more than happy picking up a monsterous wage while sitting on the bench for 80 minutes and having a 10 minute cameo on Man City's storming run to the Carling Cup final this year... :p

Bitter? Many people say the Emirates is rubbish for atmosphere.

Does Nasri have a "commitment to the truth"? The Emirates may be rubbish for atmosphere but why bother to say so, why not simply leave without hacking off the fans any further? If you feel it would be insincere to thank them for their support then just say nothing and that omission still looks and sounds better than a petulant parting shot.

It is disrespectful to the fans and there's no need in saying it. Maybe fans shouldn't care what players think but football is not an entirely rational business, you can see that at every level from fans picking their club (or having it picked for them) through to supporting the team and in many cases you can even see that clubs aren't run on a rational basis.

I'm throwing it out there that Nasri was just after the money moving to City.

I thought he played "quite" well in his last game for Arsenal, but he's a very inconstant player. He's also a actual **** off the pitch.

I'd love to be able to ask him about his comments of clubs spending money to win things a while ago, I just doubt a journalist would have the balls to ask.
