Why do you care what the players think? I personally couldn't care less. I just want to see good football, and my club (i don't support anyone) win.

Because ultimately we pay their wages??...i wont add anything else because Killswitch has nailed it on the head for me with his comments. I just find it highly disrespectful of him to say these things...if hes angry with the fans and their chants at him then he should rise above it but seems like he couldnt...and looking back at the rumours of him causing all sorts of rifts in the Arsenal camp ie Gallas and Henry having issues with him...it does seem like hes a bit of a troublemaker.

Maybe Gallas can come back to us now hes gone:p:D

:D

We should never have gotten rid of Gallas in the first place, look at the position we are in now, everyone is crying out for us to sign an experienced, quality centre back and we already had one. His fitness might not be what it used to be, but he wouldn't have been starting every game/playing 90 minutes a match anyway. A little bit short sighted on Wenger's part I think, as long as we sign a couple of players I'll be pleased. I'm not sure how Kaka has been performing recently but I read a couple of rumours about us being in for him and Mourinho wanting to sell him. :o

Why did he choose Real over Man City last time? Was it just the prestige of Madrid compared to City or was there something else?

Indeed, thats the most fustrating thing about Wenger and him selling players...he sells them but doesnt replace them that well...would have been better if we kept Gallas for at least a few more yrs as he was pretty decent in defence.

I did laugh at the thought of Kaka coming to us on loan but again we fail as he doesnt want to come. Im pretty sure he chose Real because of their players and prestige...wouldnt you want to play with some of the finest footballers on the planet a la Ronaldo??...i know i would:p. I dont think it was anything to do with money plus hes been injured quite a bit in the past few seasons...definitely not the player he used to be.

Yup I'd choose Real over City every time, at the moment anyway. You're right he's probably not the type of player we need, even if he wanted to come to us, he's had way too many injuries over the past few years and I think the EPL is much more physical than La Liga/Serie A.

I don't think Kaka is motivated by money, so he didn't go to City.

:p

He's just struggled to break in to the first team after some horrible injuries.

The form of the players ahead of him hasn't helped him, Jose clearly has more trust in some players then others.

Kaka is still a fantastic player, he's done very well whenever he's played for Real imho, he's still brilliant.

What's actually happened with Kaka? Is he just not playing at Real at all?

Not much, he started off in the team but was completely rubbish right after his transfer, he got a few goals when, honestly the rest of the team won penalties, were 3-0 up and wanted him to get a few goals.

Then he got injured several times, then theres a whole issue with, was he really injured over the world cup/start of last season when he supposedly had such a bad injury he couldn't walk on his knee........ an injury he supposedly had during the world cup(where he was better than he had been for Real) and the month+ after without seemingly noticing an injury that stopped him being able to walk.

With the rumour mill suggesting it was a saving face excuse for a 50mil transfer not getting a game...... which honestly makes sense.

I don't think he's a shocking player, but he wasn't playing well and was worse than other options they had, and he was really only pushed further from the first team with Ozil and Di Maria joining.

Would he be a flop in the EPL, probably, personally I think he's a bit like Gerrard, a team built around him for many years flatters the player massively, when put into a new team not built around them, they seem to be a bit "meh".

Some people might mention Liverpool seemingly improving without Gerrard in there, Torres being that kind of "everyone plays for him alone" type and being a bit rubbish as just another part of the team.

I think if Kaka struggled going from the Italian league to La Liga, it would be worse in the EPL.

Tummy, thats really not true, he wasn't injured when he joined, and just started off woefully, was basically dropped, supposedly had a big bad injury towards the end of the season, with zero sign of it at the world cup, etc, etc. He plays now and then for Real but really is carried and has put in few good performances.

I wasn't aware I said he was injured when he joined?

He has struggled with injuries and he's looked very good recently and towards the back end of the season.

I think at the start he was a lot more hit and miss, but not has bad as you make you. Jose clearly has players he rates and trusts more and Kaka is struggling to get ahead of those in the pecking order.

I'm not sure he'd do well in the Premier League due to him probably being kicked a lot more, I'd heard rumours about a return to Italy which I think would be an ideal move for him.

Hmmm. Not the first time I've heard that recently.

Yep, it looks like there's something to the story.

It kind of makes sense; we need some cover up front with Ngog likely to leave and Bellamy can still do a job. The worry would be having another temperamental forward; if he takes a golf club to Suarez or Carroll, it might no end as nicely as it did with Riise.

Also, Nacional have confirmed on their official site that Coates will travel to England today (won't arrive until late tonight/tomorrow morning) for his medical, for some reason they don't mention the club (Liverpool) he's joining though :/

Mentality surely had(has) to be an issue with Kaka, i don't think anyone was convinced he was happy to up sticks and move to Madrid, the board forced him out for the $$$$

that was my opinion, he looked like he was still loving life at AC, but when 50million actually comes calling (Not rumour) you're rarely going to say no, He obviously done it for the club.

as for the injury, we'll to go from what he was to what he is, i can only think he's picked up a nasty injury which has taken away some of his pace, because he doesn't look quick anymore, when 2-3 years ago, he scared me with his pace over 10 yards, would skin a player and leave them for dead.

Dani Pacheco joins Rayo on loan from Atletico on loan from Liverpool, odd!

Atletico have reportedly got an option to purchase him next summer. In which case I can only imagine that they want to see him play in Spain before committing to signing him and at the moment they can't see him getting enough games for them so they've loaned him to Rayo.

It does seem odd though.

Anyone know anything about Pereira at Porto? AVB says Chelsea have made a bid which has been rejected and isn't confident of pulling off the transfer, I've read that interest in him might end the Modric saga but Sky are saying he's a full back rather than a midfielder
