as for the injury, we'll to go from what he was to what he is, i can only think he's picked up a nasty injury which has taken away some of his pace, because he doesn't look quick anymore, when 2-3 years ago, he scared me with his pace over 10 yards, would skin a player and leave them for dead.

Rubbish if you ask me, the way it all appears to happen is, firstly the board could have forced him out to City for more money wasn't it, so blaming the board is stupid.

Also to me it always came across as Kaka was all but signed for City but the massive backlash it would have caused in Milan made the board back it all down, loads of fans outside various club/board offices and the like all essentially protesting against his sale.

He's on a silly wage at Real, I think the board/Kaka just got scared of the reaction to leaving for City and it wasn't the ideal move due to their current position at the time. But that he almost left then rather made the leaving for Real seem much more realistic to the fans, who had time to get used to the idea.

Didn't City offer something utterly ridiculous like £100mil for Kaka, so to pretend the board forced him out for a fee of, less than half that is rather daft. It was the Jan transfer window iirc and the fans were up in arms about selling their "best" player with no replacement and costing them any chance of the title and possibly champs league footie for the next year.

Can probably play either, and no real reason he couldn't play on the right either, though Bosingwa if he gets back to form can be good, he was a bit **** last season, though I refuse to acknowledge him as a good player until he stops having a god damned unibrow.

Thing is, Chelsea really don't have any backup/cover at left back at all and few real wingers to speak of. He seems a pretty damn good quality player who could probably be quite versatile for Chelsea's needs.

Off the top of my head, trying to think of another team that has issues at left back, wingers, and quality with money to spend........
Its always possible he prefers left back, or even didn't get on with the manager so might not want to go to Chelsea, but with nothing to suggest either of those things is true Chelsea seem like the fairly obvious choice for him.

You've not missed anything. I share your frustration. This whole transfer window debacle is just a joke.. I'm sure they are hanging on for deadline bargains for incoming player but a little to late to induce them to the team .. and I'm sure at one point both had great aspirations for the club. My ****

I've heard (only by conversation) that Diarra knew nothing of a Spurs deal?
 
No one mentioned SSN breaking news yet? Modric in talks with Levy over his future as we speak - presumably his attempt at stopping Spurs from cup tying him tonight

Well unless Chelsea have another player signing who is going to play Europa football before he joins i doubt it would be an attempt for that as it wouldn't matter.

If Modric had of played tonight (he's not as he's got a hamstring injury) then he'd be ineligible for Chelsea in the Champions League till January. That would very much be an issue for Chelsea
