£10 for the phone

Ah right, I was just about to have a big sulk for not shopping around to get the best deal :D

I get the following for £30 a month:

2000 uk mins
5000 txts
5000 3 mobile to 3 mobile mins
all you can eat data
free voicemail
2000 uk landline mins
free international calling

I think they know I won't be using all that, but at least I don't have to worry about any phone use!

I'm thinking about ordering this phone (probably on some O2 24 month contract), but while browsing around I found lots of people complaining that it has very poor wifi reception. Can anyone

Might depend on the wifi channel, mine is dire most of the time but it's unlikely it'll ever effect download speeds even if it's on 1 bar.

I haven't had any issues with Wi-Fi, it's been no different to my Desire so far. The phone signal however is much better than the Desire.

I might give it a go, what things do you like about Batista over cm7?

With regards to the build issues being mentioned, I have to admit to being a little underwhelmed with the sgs2 when I first got it. It's the weight of thing I struggle with the most. However I'm now starting to appreciate this as a plus instead of a "it must be cheap" type of feeling. The phone is completely solid with no creaks or squeaks, so no complaints from me there :)

Lots of nice features and super quick. Fastest rom I have used. Battery lasting well and some extra bits which improve the experience

Everyone's very vague about Batista. The only thing I recall people mentioning are fairly standard... CRT off, 1080p video recording, Agile lock (or is it a whole new lock?). Is there anything that makes it unique?

People who go on about the back of the phone being flimsy really annoy me, sure the back is flimsy when it is off the phone but it's the type of plastic that does'nt break when bent and when the backs on the phone it is a very secure fit and very firm, not what i hear about the HTC's part aluminium cases which creak in the hand. Plus the preference of the weight of a phone is subjective, i like a thin light phone that doe'snt slosh around in my pocket like a brick, i had a HTC Desire HD for a short time and i imagine the sensation is a similar weight and that was way to heavy for my liking.

The only thing i dislike with the Galaxy S 2 is the largeish gap around the screen which traps dust for a past time.

You should see the HTC sensation after a couple of months use - The plastic/rubber around the camera area starts to 'melt'/ warp after some extended use!!!

Apart from tacky launcher animations and a different theme it's got very little that you wouldn't get from other roms.

Well I have used other roms and Batista does feel faster than them. I suppose this is in part due to the memory mods it has and the alternative animations which are slicker than stock.

New user with questions!

- Best firmware at the moment is?
- Do i need and sd card to flash firmware?

Anyone had issues with the perfurated samsung case?

My dad and i both have the same case, and we both have the same problem, that when talking to people on the phone, the receiver will always hear an echo of themselves, and once the case is removed, the issue is no longer there?

Anyone else experienced this? Apologies if its already been posted :)

I don't think you need an sd card to flash a ROM or anything.

Just drag it and place in your main phone storage, then flash through CWM-Recovery.

A lot of us think Batista70 is the best ROM currently, and by "A lot", near enough all of us ;)

lol :D:p:cool:
