Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Well, if he is a nice guy who you have been chatting with and took the time to arrange a meet why not go along anyway and see how it goes?

At least your getting replies. I also take time to write a decent messages when I send them but never get a reply. So annoying.

I signed back up on POF about a week and a half ago. I asked my brother's girlfriend to give my profile a bit of a make over to see if it helped matters but so far still not having much luck. I've yet to receive a single message, and the two girls I have sent messages to I haven't heard back from yet. There are others in my area on the website I like, so I'll be keeping my options open if the second one still hasn't replied in a few days. The first message was sent on the day I signed up and since she has been online since as has yet to reply, I think its obvious she isn't interested.
 
This girl I met last week, just seen her again out and about, she is called Faye, and isn't stunningly beautiful or anything, she is just kind of cute. But something feels so right about her, I don't even want a relationship which is worrying but I can't stop thinking about her. I really feel a connection between us.

This is the one I kissed last week, then she threw up in our toilet (hopefully not as a result of the kissing)

Nice one ScarySquirrel, cant say i have ever had that "connection" feeling - must be nice. Dont feel much at all with the GF tbh but hey ho. We met on POF, over a year ago now.

She never had any pictures displayed, so she sent them along with something to do with my mum being ugly! She toke it as it was intended - a joke! :p
 
Well I have removed my profile for the time being. The dates I've had so far have been fun, but at the same time a little strange, but as I'm moving flats soon I can't dedicate the time I need to give to someone else.
However I do have one last date. With a girl who live 30 miles away. I wouldn't normally think about seeing someone so far away but she is 5,10 (im 6ft2) stunning and a part time model. Who wouldnt!!!!

See I find that incredibly weird, it's good that you take risks though but I don't fancy another shy one, I prefer someone who is comfortable talking about crap.

I always message the ones with no pictures, as I seem to get really lucky. Meeting one next friday, who is also very pretty! They clearly don't get as much mail. Plus there ain't a lot of choices up here anyway.

I've given up for now. I'm going to spend my money on my house, turning it into a proper bachelor pad with pinball machine and everything. :) Every girl I've met lately that I thought I'd like turned out to be a bit unhinged. :(

My sister keeps trying to set me up with her mates who are at "last chance saloon" at 30 and want to settle down, have kids etc, and it's not what I want. She won't listen! :(

That's what 90% of what women want mate, I wouldn't look too much into it, that is if you like someone enough.

Though I couldn't think of anything worse than being with one of my sisters friends.

If things turned serious I'd make it clear that you aren't ready for any type of commitment yet.

on another note, I got this message before off someone I was talking too

I went a bit off the rails last year and stopped eating, then became a stripper... I'm not anymore but I miss the dance part. I quit because I'm not really that girl.

Yep, I've bored people enough posting about it, but I find it immensely frustrating that I can't find anyone in the minority that just wants to travel, have fun, and enjoy life without the responsibility of children. If i was gay, I'd be laughing my socks off, no doubt. :(

Hahahahaha

I just added someone on facebook, asked them what they where they want to be in 5 years time.

got the Family, Marriage response. I just said I won't be ready for anything like that until my very late 20's early 30's, why on earth anyone would want that kind of responsibility at early 20's is beyond me.
 
So it looks like i may have found a keeper. Spent most of the day with her yesterday and her and my friends all mixed well down the local in the evening too. Off to watch planet of the apes with her tonight.
