News that Chelsea have bid 30mil for Ribery instead of continuing after Modric, Arsenal potential serious with the rather daft bids for Malouda and Alex, Alex if fit couldn't hurt, but aging and getting more injuries seems a huge risk for very high wage I'd imagine.

EDIT:- actually been fairly surprised by the lack of rumours about Ribery/Robben this transfer window, did the Sun/Mirror/guardian completely forget they existed till today?

No, people seem to completely forget we got Gervinho off them, then stole their 1.8mil replacement, to say that Joe Cole is a last minute desparation move after we completely screwed them, would be understating it, Joe Cole is cack :p

Also after we bought their 12 mil man, and stole the 1.8mil replacement, lets be honest, they aren't going to be happy with us. They were all set for a hefty 10mil profit and now they'll have to pay silly wages to Cole for a year, and still buy someone next year.

If Wenger was going to spend 30mil I think it would be on a real DM after finally public opinion on Song even amongst pundits has finally changed to "he's retarded", which given Pong is an identical player, just shorter, might mean he's realised both are cack and we need a DM more than any other position(and have done since we let Diarra, Gilberto and Flamini walk out the door for, collectively, **** all). With Chamberlain, Theo, Gervinho, Park, Ryo, Santos/Gibbs(he was always a winger pushed back into defence), Arshavin, Rosicky, probably 7 other striker/wingers I can't recall at this moment......... I think we have short arse wingers covered.
 
I would love to see Ribery play in the PL, and also would welcome Robben back.

Inter Milan website showing Forlan has signed and Juventus website showing Elia has had a medical, both great signings.

I'd be happy with Alex and Benayoun but I can't see why Chelsea would sell them to us. Benayoun isn't really needed anyway.

As for Malouda I don't see why he would want to come to Arsenal, he's got a good thing going at Chelsea on account of the fact that there's not much competition on the wings.
 
I never understood why they actually bought Benayoun in the first place. Just seemed like a random purchase.
 
i always liked Yossi TBH. He seemed to be liverpools most creative player when gerrard was injured and created a lot for them. i thought £6 million to Chelsea was a bargain but then he got injured. TBh Arsenal could do a lot worse than Yossi. Mereiles a better player though.
