I'd be happy with Alex and Benayoun but I can't see why Chelsea would sell them to us. Benayoun isn't really needed anyway.
As for Malouda I don't see why he would want to come to Arsenal, he's got a good thing going at Chelsea on account of the fact that there's not much competition on the wings.
Malouda has been angling for a longer contract, and from what I recall when Chelsea weren't playing well they took Malouda off first to change things, they he was dropped and brought on, then taken off again for Mata who frankly, made Malouda look like turd in comparison.
I can't see Malouda playing much on the right, basically no chance if they get Ribery so he'll almost certainly not be first team anymore.
Thing is will Wenger offer him a 3-4 year deal at 31 years old, and is Wenger simply trying to do everything he normally does, but with his same fairly poor judgement as usual because Malouda seems like a horrible buy to me.
I think wages, age, quality, we just got shot of having Nasri on 115k a week, so we'll go and put someone older and less good on about the same wage, would be mental. I think Chelsea are kind of anti long deal for older players which is why Alex is almost out the door and Malouda isn't getting the deal he wants.
As for Chelsea getting him, they swapped him for Joe cole for all intents and purposes, save money long term on wages, for a better player, pretty simple really. He's not half bad, what I don't get is why they want shot of him now he's fit. He's better than Malouda and Kalou, not as fast though and fairly weak, but creative in a way everyones been complaining they are lacking. Surely the right slot up till now, is made for him as they have no right wingers at all.
IF he could be proven fit I wouldn't mind him at Arsenal if he was on a reasonably low wage. But then Wenger won't play him ahead of Theo the retard so whats the point.
