My main problem with Android is the lack of coherent strategy. It feels all over the place, various manufactures thinking they're software developers by sticking silly skins on top of their devices, adding other app stores and no centralised update system.
That is one problem, the other big problem, for me, is the Android market. It is dreadful in comparison to the iOS app store, DREADFUL. Developers can't make anywhere near the amount of money as they can on the iOS app store, and thus many big name developers prioritise the iOS platform because of that.
The lack of proper curation on Android market is not a good thing, with various reports about malicious applications and the general lack of quality or consistent approach to app development is terribly painful when you come from the iOS app store.
Android itself, is mostly fine for me, Its the stuff that 3rd parties do to it and Google's management of Android market.
Also, another thing, which I always find hilarious is this snobbery about things being easier and nicer to use. People wanting to protect their geek cred by purposely using stuff that is harder to use. It's weird. Very weird.
