SLi will be working in the beta that's for sure.

DICE & nVidia have been humping each other at every conference/games event lately so it'll run well on their hardware that's for sure. LOL

Sli was broken in the alpha, weird that crossfire worked though.
On the initial alpha release, sli wasnt working. On the second release it was enabled. I was getting the following at 1920x1200, high setting.

Single card, 50fps max
Dual cards, 80fps max

98% gpu usage.

I was getting to around 120fps on some areas in crossfire, around 55-60 with a single card. Alpha was pretty sketchy for performance at best seeing as it was earlier code with no real settings to speak of.

Hmm, got MoH LE on steam, it says to look for the BF3 Beta key beside the CD key for MoH and it's not there?! Anyone else have MoH LE on Steam?

i did get an email saying my beta place is reserved for buying MoH LE back in July?

Same here, there is no code on the leaflet in the cd case. Should receive a key anyway.

wtf is with the 'infrared' being green....

An image intensifier is being used, not thermal or infrared, as I wrongly said.

A green phosphor is used in these applications because the human eye can differentiate more shades of green than any other color, allowing for greater differentiation of objects in the picture.

*Edit. Actually, second thoughts, it looks like a bastardisation of two or all three. The way soldiers show as being lit up, seems more like infrared or thermal. So not sure, anyone?
*Edit. Got it, I think? :)
T'is ENVG. A mix of Infrared/thermal and image intensifier. You know in that single player co-op demo, where they are using night vision and the soldiers show up as orange?
God I waste my time doing some useless ****.

It looks very similar to the scopes used in the PS3 co-op gameplay (skip to 2.50)

demize99 tweeted that those scopes were a combination of night vision and thermal. (looking for the tweet now)

Edit - ENV - Enhanced Night Vision http://twitter.com/#!/Demize99/status/103485859097092096

The AN/PSQ-20 Enhanced Night Vision Goggle combines image intensifier (I2 or II) and infra-red (IR, also called thermal imaging) technologies

In real life - that is some crazy tech!
