Hmm, Dark Knight ROM, or something like that, I think had it. Tbh, I didn't like it as it scales up a smaller image and makes it look pixelated.

I'm quite happy with them. The network service is Vodafone's so you need to check their coverage. Phone service has always been good for me, 3g depends where you are, but that goes for all operators.

Loving my Galaxy S2

So far the only fault I can find is that every time the phone is turned off and back on I have to re-enable bluetooth.

Kind of irritating because if I forget to turn it back on and get in the car the handsfree does not connect.

Yeah, mine keeps Bluetooth on when restarting the phone, however it doesn't show as a clickable notification. It's enabled still afaik though.

well I don't get the bluetooth indicator in the top bar and the quick switch button in the pull down shows it as off

I'll try restarting the phone and then go and see if it connects without pressing anything

Guy,

Quick question but what's the best weather widget taking into account weather. I use GoWeather but in I'm in a call or no GPS it gives errors in the notification bar and I'm pretty sure that it is using battery for that even though I set it to only update once a day ...

What do you all suggest?

Beautiful Widgets, nice range of widgets, and clicking on it opens another screen with sense like animations.

ok thats just weird. restarted the phone to go and test and the bluetooth started up on it's own like it's supposed to.

Look at the link nikz posted, it's free on GetJar atm. You can't update it or anything if you get it from there, but at the very least it's better than the 15 minutes Google give you to trial an app before you can't refund.

GetJar requires you to install their market to install the app, but you can uninstall it once you've installed any apps that you want (I did this as one of the permissions it wanted was to start on startup, so wasn't sure whether it'd drain battery in the background or not)

Edit: Btw, those on VillainROM, pulser has released 3.0.0 (no update to thread title since it's the first 2.3.5 release by Samsung) using the KI3 base which is Android 2.3.5

Getting use to this now, really like it so far. What satnav do you guys use? I had the latest tomtom on my iP4, whats the best one to get on the S2? I only really require UK maps. I have tried downloading copilot twice but neither worked. A link would be great too, if that's allowed?

The Google Nav one already on the phone is supposed to be pretty good, and free (it can only cache 10 maps though, so requires a data connection when somewhere not cached, obviously this could be a problem if you go places where you don't have a data connection), I don't use a sat nav though so can't add anything other than that

I think there's a thread recently that talks about Android sat nav apps, should be on the first or second page I think.

If you only need UK maps give Navfree a try.

It's only about 300 meg and is totaly free, it only covers the UK which is what you want anyway so fits the bill and is supposed to be very good

Not really. This is a huge leap in phone tech in my opinion, although the leap looks smaller and smaller the further you get from release and the closer you get to the Prime.
