I was thinking of questioning how you came to be in possesion of this tree then noticed your location wasn't London or anywhere else involved in the current chaos... yet...
Watch Karate Kid....I think you imagine in your head how it should grow and then cut it to fit that image...Mine always ends up bushy(!)![]()

That's what I replaced mine with, so far it is surviving my neglect.Bonsai trees require too much maintenance. There's internet to be doing. Just buy a cactus. The only thing you have to do with a cactus is water it every couple months and make sure your dog and/or niece don't try and eat it.
