If you were able to carry the OCUK tradition down the family?

My point is you can't just say "no internet until you're 16", it makes no sense and is irrational.

No its not if you know what 3 guys 1 hammer is.

I strongly doubt that a kid who hasnt been sat on the net all day most days until 16 will hear about stuff like that or want to look it up until they are older.

Why even let them out of the house in the first place?

Meh, that could still work. My parents did it ... :x

That really doesnt compare to 3 guys 1 hammer, or 2 guys 1 horse

Comparing porn to a video of two guys caving a homeless guys head in with a hammer and stabbing him in the eye with a screwdriver is retarded.

I haven't seen the video and from what I hear I don't want to see it. Kids can also be taught to click away things that might be potentially fearful for em...

Regardless, life is tough and a teen should learn that, until 10 I might be protective but 10-20, come on... Then they're old enough to know life is full of **** and they have to watch themselves.

Snowdog in commenting on things he's clueless about shocker...

If life is tough and people should learn to deal with it you should have no problem watching 3 guys 1 hammer. So off you trot then get back to me and let me know if that kind of thing is acceptable for kids to see.

He wasn't homeless. If you have seen the full unedited video you will see that the man was riding past the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs on a bicycle when they clock him with the hammer then drag him into the woods.

So I put my finger at the side of my panties and pushed them aside showing off half of my now wet pussy. Mark was now staring at it in amazement, I knew he was becoming horny. So I removed my baggy t-shirt and let my breasts hang out, Mark reached out his finger and began circuling my nipple, it felt good. I stood up on the washer and slowly removed my panties, leaving me standing naked infront of my step dad.

Wanting to stop protecting your kids from age 10 would be your own opinion / decision on raising your kids. I would definitely want to make an attempt to protect mine until around 16. I dont think that 10 years old is old enough to stumble across internet shock sites.

School mates could easily send links disguised as something else via messenger or anything else to bait them into clicking. Lots of kids do stuff like that because they think its funny.

I really dont see what the details have to do with anything?

Im not sure why anyone needs to watch the "full unedited video" either tbh.

If these videos are out there for kids to watch then banning them from the internet certainly wont stop them from seeing them.

The video I saw he was described as homeless. I only watched it the once and didn't again (and I couldn't make it through the entire video). And that was at the time when it first hit the internet.

What the hell? LOL.

The point is you will "protect" your child as best you can but he will have a mate who can access anything he wants therefore your "protection" becomes completely irrelevant.

I made the same mistake when I saw the first video hit the internet since it looked like they just found him sleeping rough in the woods. But no, he was just an ordinary bloke going about his day.

So how many kids do you know that go over to their friends house to look up 3 guys 1 hammer?

I've seen a lot of gore videos. And you always get that feeling of "why did I watch that" after you see some of them. But 3 guys 1 hammer left me with a feeling of complete horror and emptiness that it was the last gore video I ever watched. It was like... "****". You know what I mean?

Dont forget BME Pain Olympics.

When i was a kid i had no access to porn so we went to the kids that did.

If a kid wants to see the film there will be friends who can download it and its completely ridiculous to pretend that because a parent controls what their child views at home that = what their child views in total.

3 Guys 1 hammer isnt a porn video, why do people still continue to compare **** like that to porn???

Your comment is almost equal to having a rule in the house saying 'Dont kill people', and having your kids then wander off to their friends houses instead to kill people. Certain things simply dont happen because they arent allowed in a kids house.

To quote myself:

Oh its not about the pr0n. I wouldnt want them getting into foul tempered MMO communities, or seeing stuff like 2 girls one cup :p

It might horrify you but I felt nothing watching that video, same with dagestan, chechclear, nick berg etc. Gore stuff just doesn't really get to me.

Because it is the "forbidden" thing and kids want to see what they shouldnt.

The content itself isnt the issue really.

It could be porn, it could be the woman getting done by the horse, it could be someone getting killed. Chances are that your kid will have seen it by 14 whether you restrict their internet access or not. Thats all im saying.

Its better to explain what they WILL see, rather than ban the access in the hope they wont.

Try to get your kids signed up to OcUK? That sounds a little bit weird, it's not as if we're talking about passing on a family heirloom here or joining the Masons.

If I have kids and if I'm still posting on OcUK at the point where they're interested in the internet then I've got no particular objections to them joining up but I can't really see myself being unduly keen them to do so. It's their life to do what they want with, I can offer some level of guidance but I don't think OcUK is going to feature as one of the foremost things that I feel they should involve themselves in but maybe I'll feel differently should such a time come...
