I've been trying to get into the apple store all day to view my orders but it keeps on saying we're updating at the minute or oops, anyone else having this problem? I guess it's just because the site is being hammered all day.

Yeah I had that issue a few times, but I got my confirmation email so no need to check it really. (for me at least)
 
The 4S is a disappointment for me as an existing 4 owner. The only real attraction would be to get 64 gb instead of 32 as I normally keep quite a few films on it.

I'm banking on Apple releasing the proper 5 before June next year. I'll have a look at that then.
 
Looks like am having to wait abit for my 64gb white as money is tight and the missus wants my old 3gs instead of me selling it to put towards the 4s :(
 
Apparently according to my order history I have the following orders processing:
1 x iPhone 4S 32GB Black
3 x iPhone 4S 64Gb Black

So much for the limit of 2 per customer....

Maybe a disappointment because to everyone looking at it, it still looks like an iphone 4

However its got a totally different processor and by the sounds of it a much better camera.

Its like owning a pc and someone saying its the same just because it looks the same on the outside :rolleyes:

Either way, im sure there will be games out that run like spuds on the iphone 4 in a year or 2 that are fantastic on the iphone 4s
 
I love the look of the iPhone 4. I hated those mock ups of the "iPhone 5".

I'd be happy if it stayed this way for the next 5 years. 4" screen is nice, but not essential to me.

We don't offer pre-order or take reservations to buy iPhone 4S. We expect high demand for it and recommend that if you really want one on launch day, get to your local store early to avoid disappointment.

So how are they looking after their existing customers first? I for one am moving over to 3 (Three) from O2...
 
I'll bet you that come October 14th, you'll be able to upgrade as they will "have stock".

If they let anyone pre-order they would have less for the existing customers (maybe none), come launch day.

Just found out what they're doing for O2 Customers

For the launch of iPhone 4S we're offering our existing customers iPhone 4S 16GB for free on a 900 minute 18 or 24 month contract, saving £49.99.
