£41 + £6 for 500mb bolton = £47 a month total and free phone.
I'm a O2 Gold customer so can upgrade after 15 months.
So £47 x 15 = £705 - Which I think is quite good?

AT&T has had more preorders than any previous iPhone release. So yeah, this thing is going to sell like crazy.

I am alittle concerned with iphone 5 on the horizion about doing a contract.
I work a contract - buy cycle like intel tick tock for my iphones
Does that make me odd?
IE:
3G - contract
3GS- Bought out right from apple
4 - contract
4s - buy out right from apple

Selling now is pointless. 2 days after launch when the stock is gone is when people get desperate.

Just ordered a 16GB in Black and will be getting a £10/month SIM from Three. Much lower total cost and now I'm not locked to the same phone for 2 years like I was with my 3GS. There's no way I'm getting a contract that long ever again.
I will be taking a 12 month o2 contract for this I'd imagine!
Was thinking about buying the handset outright at 499 for the 16GB and taking a simplicity.
I used to work at o2, and still have friends there so I get 30% off all contracts.
From playing about with the numbers I get the following
12 months - Unlimited Tarriff with 500mb - (£66 - 30%)x12 = £570 Plus £49.99 = £621 Total cost for 12 months
12 months 1200 Mins - Unlimited Texts - 500mb Data = (£52-30%)x12 = £436 + £89.99 = £526 Total cost for 12 months.
Will deffo be going for the second option there, gives more flexibility for next years iphone 5 upgrade. Should get a good chunk of my money back at sell on time as well

This makes an interesting read; it explains the over hyped 4S rumors and how it lead to such disappointment on product launch day.
