Quick question for you more experienced vapers:

How long do your cartomisers last? I bought a 5 pack two weeks ago, one tasted like crap out of the box, and the others have steadily gone from tasting and vaping great, to being pretty plain.

Are there any better cartomisers or similar systems about?

Boge by any chance?

Big quality issues with them. Some are great, some are awful and produce a nasty black gunk.

I;m sticking with dual coil cartomisers from now on.

Just got my Tornado Tank delivered today

Have tried the tobacco that came with it not that impressed, not to worry though as i got some Grizwald's Pick 'n' Mix from VAPE ESCAPE.

Golden Burginia,
Citrus Spring,
Walnut Pipe,
666,
Apples 'n' Pears

have tried the apple in pears and the citrus spring both are very nice....just about to try the Golden burgina

I have been smoking Sterling Reds so trying to get some juice thats similar in taste any ideas ?

Heh got it in one. I'm guessing you've had similar issues.

i thought the golden burginia had kind of a 'popcorn' taste to it.

just got some grizwalds arctic lemon and some LF RY4 in the bud tank atomizers i got earlier!

flavour is really good on these! quite like the RY4 and the Arctic lemon tastes like airwaves! real menthol taste to them!

just ordered 30ml of grizwalds caramel cappucino.

I've just made the move to cartos and bought both some Boge 2.0 and Dual Coils.

I'm preferring the Boge myself... finding some kind of weird plasticky/just-licked-a-bum aftertaste with the dual coils that I just can't place. The Boge's each seem to last about a week or two before they slow down and start becoming a nuisance.

Smoketech dual coil cartos are my favourite right now, prefer them over the boges. These:

In other news, I've been smoke free for 3 months, and now vapour free for 2 weeks

I'm now on my last 60ml of juice which was delivered today from LF.

Going to start to cut down now as I'm spending more on vaping than I ever did on fags, vaping 30ml a week at the moment.

30ml costs around £5 if you mix your own. I certainly haven't saved money yet as such, but now I have everything I need to be self sufficient for around a year the savings will come.

. Thanks a lot for that Devrij, much appreciated. I'll give it a whirl later today, have fancied trying a grape flavour for a while

Also, a couple of general questions. Is a clearomiser basically just a see-through atomiser? Do they hold any benefits over normal ones? Additionally, i guess a cartomiser is a cartridge with a built in short life atomiser? Again are there any benefits to this?

Yes it is expensive, but after a month or so on clearomisers, Im so nearly ready to go back on the fags as they are terrible, leaky, variable vaping quality, last about 2-3 days (10ml approx)
Cartomisers gave good throat hit but only lasted a day and a half before gunking up.

I know how you feel - my vaping started at 2.5ml per day, Im not sure how much Im doing now, maybe 4ml, maybe a bit more. It is the evenings on the couch with a few tins and happily vaping away...
Mixing your own is really the way to go as it is still cheaper than rollies for me....

And Tabacoo cartridges (Cartomizer)

What will i have to replace and how often?

Do i just need to keep getting more cartomizers?

Finally got my order from Libertyflights today, despite ordering on monday

But Blackcurrant and Licorice is sooo nice, and 36mg aswell as i was finding i was having cravings for rollies with 18mg and 24mg, its knocking my socks off at the moment lol.

dont think you would generally get pre-filled 'flavoured' for that type of model, usually the pre-fill is either tobacco or menthol.

will have a look at what connections that model has but realistically i think 510 connections is the kind of standard you should go towards.

Anyone tried the Amber Leaf DF, Golden Virginia DF, Old Holborn DF, and Drum DF flavours from www.oksmokey.com ? if so are they quite like the real thing?

They don't particularly taste like the real thing... more like the fresh tobacco smells when you sniff in the open packet. They're all lovely, nutty flavours though -- I'd definitely recommend the Drum and Old Holborn.

If you want a "real cigarette" taste, try the Lambert and Butler. Has that real "fag ash" aftertaste to it.

I think one of the benefits of cartomisers is being able to change flavours instantly by changing over the cartomiser. Not quite sure what else tbh. I'm sticking with my tank attys until something really good comes along. I stocked up when TW had the buy 2 get 1 free offer.

I've reduced my nic level down over the months (nearly 6?) but I still need my safety blanket. Left my spare battery at home a couple of times and it really stressed me out but thankfully I've not been completely caught short. Did you just quit? Considering dropping nicotine completely and vaping flavour to see if I can do it :eek:

Tried these? Mine have been lasting nearly 2 weeks each, better flavour and run time than tanks and somewhat more predictable usage time too. Plus at less than 3 quid easier to just bin than a poorly tank attie
